I know a lot of people dug this brew when it was released last year. I hear that this year's batch is gonna be released as soon as next week. Here's hoping I'm right.

Abita does "sweet" beer good... Purple Haze is one of my favorites.  Haven't tried this one, but will.

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. The strawberry flavor is very subtle.

Just like Purple Haze and the raspberry flavor.  In fact, I didn't even know it was a "fruit" beer until I had ordered it in the bottle.

Probably similar to Purple Haze.

Well, in addition to typically really digging lambics, I actually dig fruit beers more than I'd like to admit.  Not so much that I drink them often, but typically enjoy them as a change of pace.  In fact, if what these guys are saying is true, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I kinda dug this.

Still, nothing beats a lambic in this field.  Lindeman's Apple is banging.

Another good one is Pyramid's Apricot brew if you can get ahold of it.

That was actually one of the beers I was thinking of when I wrote my comments above.
