Cunning Runt
Just looking for some input on this guy. He gonna be the man or is it Hightower this year?
dirtdickens
Same old story, he is soft. The buckeye boards I read have had posts about him still trying to learn the offense. Wasnt really a good blocker or receiver in college and those are pretty important things in the NFL. The guy has all the talent in the world, but he has to show some heart at some point. I knew this was going to happen with him.
euphy
story is... he sucks. I dont even see him getting carries if Hightower is out.
nuke'em ttg
fumbles can't pass protect dinged up puss gotta late start can't handle all the plays can't wait for the Hightower bashers ta get a clue......he's a crappy Marshall Faulk which is still pretty good
chinatown dragons
story is... he sucks. I dont even see him getting carries if Hightower is out. prior to the colts game, he had 7 carries in each of the first two games and did more with those than hightower has done with his carries... hightower is definitely the better rb 'receiver', but i would venture a guess that after the bye, they start getting Beanie the ball... drafted him in first round for a reason.........can see sets with both him and hightower in there.... im holding him for a wait and see.... MikesVikes
All that I've heard about him is that he is obviously the more talented RB on the roster. That he might be having issues with his pass blocking skills. Hopefully he gets more playing time down the stretch.

He was drafted for a reason and HT isnt doing much differently than he did last year (besides that 1 fluke game with 100 receptions). Scorcher
For the whole season it's been said that he is a bad blocker and doesn't know the playbook. With a QB with limited mobility and a shoulder and hip issue he ( Wells) could do a lot of damage to that team with back pass blocking. Do teams ever do one on one or specified training to bring their million dollar "studs" up to speed? I am asking because everybody seems to know his deficiencies but they don't seem to change. MrTed46
They also go alot of 3 WR sets so they need a RB who knows how to block
heehawks
Dumped him in my 8-team leagues for Sims-Walker. I can't wait for him to start producing when there are guys on the wire actually getting points with consistency....I'll keep an eye on him tho. Phazool
A couple days ago I dropped Chris Brown for him just 15 minutes after another owner dropped him. Going with my gut.
