imtoolowkey
I ask because I may have an opportunity to go with my team likely heading there. I would be taking a flight to either destination - either home to watch it with friends and family or to miami to watch it live in person! I think it may be more fun to watch it with the people I know, all who are pulling for my team. But then again, it is the superbowl (a once in a lifetime type of thing!) Don't know what to do. First things first, i know all of you so let's just clear the air: Yes, I know this is the Jets we are talking about. No, I have not booked yet. Yes, I'm aware they are playing the colts. No, I don't want to take odds or the Jets getting 8.
i_am_the_swammi
I'd head to the game....and not even think twice about it. But "my team likely heading there", and your a Jets fan? BTW, does your screen name really contain the words "Im tool"?
buddahj
Live, no doubt.
CaptainHook
I've been to a Super Bowl, and it's awsome. I highly recommend it. That being said, I hope it's me going, and not you. Edited January 21, 2010 by CaptainHook
Savage Beatings
If you have a chance to be there live I think you have to take it. Who wouldn't dream of going to a live Superbowl with your favorite team playing?
Whiskey Pimp
I would have chosen the option "Not make plans until after conference championship weekend so I don't jinx my team"

tonyr0802
how much is this going to cost you? I voted to go, but if it depends on how reasonable the expense. This is key imo too. I'd love to go see the Colts in the SB but just can't spend that kinda coin on it.
ljbrun
If I were going with a large group of friends - Yes If it were being held in Vegas - Yes (even if by myself) Otherwise - no, I rather take the $$ and upgrade my home theater set up

CaptainHook
Unless you win the Super Bowl Lottery for for your respective team as a season ticket holder, be prepared to shell out at least three times face value of a ticket. They are $800 per ticket this year. 3 years ago, the face value was $600 per ticket. I paid $1800 for my seat. My buddy paid the same. We bought them through a ticket broker. At the game, we walked around the stadium, and could not find a seat for less than $2000.
tazinib1
IMO, going to the Super Bowl is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the average Joe. Since I'm an average Joe, I'd be packing my flip flops and coconut sun tan lotion.
Chief Dick
When the Chiefs make it I will stay home and watch it here. I want to see how the city reacts when they win and be here for that celebration.
