Pac Is Not Champ
Just heard it on Sportscenter. A must drop I guess.
Shorttynaz
Per Fox Sports "Bush hurt himself after recovering his muffed punt with 6:58 remaining. He had trouble catching the ball at windy Candlestick Park and was hurt diving to cover up the loose ball. ''Last second it kind of shifted a little bit, just enough for me to drop it,'' he said. ''I tried to recover it and somebody took my leg out. I don't know who it was, what happened or how it happened. I just know my leg got taken out. That's it.'' Uh - no.. I saw you muff the punt and then dive on it, start flopping like a fish out of water and some big fat dude landed on your leg fighting for the ball. No one took out your leg.. budlitebrad
Broken fibula.
cdrudge
Broken fibula.Just rub some dirt on it and he'll be fine. You've got two bones in the lower leg anyways. The fibula isn't even the bigger of the two. What a wuss.
MrTed46
What is the normal time table for this injury? I see a minimum of 6 weeks but can anyone speculate. On a 15 man roster league, he is going to WW I think.
myhousekey
So with a week 10 bye, any speculation on if he comes back before or after the bye?

More tests were scheduled for Tuesday.

CardinalEmpire.com
Who is the back to pick up in New Orleans? Ivory or Wynn? Probably Thomas since he's the starter and all...
darin3
Who is the back to pick up in New Orleans? Ivory or Wynn? Ivory's been hurt, too. If he's healthy I'd say he'd be the guy.
loaf
I think Ivory has a sprained MCL and is due back by week 4? could be wrong. I think Wynn for the next two weeks if Ivory is out.

I read that Ivory is due week 4 as well. I think he will be the guy to backup PT when he is healthy.
CaptainHook
It takes longer than 4-6 weeks to heal from a broken fibula. I had a hairline fracture in mine, from football, and it took months. 4-6 weeks is how long it takes the bone to heal the break, but it takes time after that to get back up to speed. Especially running and cutting. I'd say more like 10-12 weeks or more. I remember when Vick broke his fibula with the Falcons and everyone said 4-6 weeks. He ended up missing 13 weeks... myhousekey
I'm going to guess Week 11 (after the bye). That's 9 weeks away.

MrTed46
Saints released Deshawn Wynn and resigned Ladell Betts Now its between Ivory or Betts. I am going to assume Ivory will be the handcuff/person to own.

myhousekey
Just saw this on facebook.....not sure if it's accurate or not.
