Redskins lose on a missed extra point

The Redskins should not have even had the opportunity to kick that XP. They got an extra down after McNabb threw incomplete on 4th and 4 (sideline markers were WRONG).

They (officials) tried to say later that the first down pass from the 12 to Anthony Armstrong resulted in a 1st down, but I replayed the catch and they marked him at the 3 (which would make it 2nd and 1). 2nd down was an incomplete pass, 3rd down was a run of -3 yards, followed by the incomplete pass on 4th down.

Then McNabb hits Moss for the TD on the next play. The only way they can justify this is that Armstrong was not touched down at the three, but that would mean he scored on the play.

This was another horribly game by the Redskins and its coaching staff. The 2 missed field goals were gimmies. The way the clock was managed before halftime was absolutely horrible. That should have been a TD instead of a FG. And then the botched snap on the final extra point to tie things up was just the icing on the cake. Sad, very sad, posing as an NFL franchise.
