Bears...

 Apparently the game is so bad that CBS switched their coverage to the Jets-Dolphins game mid-third quarter....

Just curious: Could that really be true though? I don't remember ever seeing them do that. I can't count the times they stick on a worthless game until the bitter end, as I scream at my TV to change to the other broadcast... Did they finally wise up that most people in other regions have no interest in continuing to watch the Pats shlack da Bears?

Did anyone else have the game switched to one that's actually worth watching?

Yes, I have seen them switch games before. I live in the boston area so they stuck with the Pats game, but I have def seen them switch from a blowout before.

they switched the game on me

They swtitched games here in Texas, 1 and half minutes into the 3rd quarter and we got the Jets/Dolphins.

Switching to more competetive games is pretty common. A few years ago when the Patriots were killing everyone, I don't recall ever seeing a full Patriots game as they always switched to a more competetive game.

any team would look as bad playing against the NE on the field today

Since the 2nd half of the Detroit game on Turkey-day, the New England offense has been unreal. You don't expect that in the snow, but then again they are something like 10-0 in snow games as of late (can't remember the exact stat). The Bears are a decent team that has stayed healthy (for once) so they are over-achieving record wise. They still have plenty of issues and I don't know if it was the weather/built for speed thing as much as the Patriots have just buzz-sawed through opponents lately.

I tried to look up the scores from the last three games NE played in blizzard conditions or even listed as heavy snow games.

With no luck finding anything ,, my info is coming from 1050 am radio show with Murph & Mac ( Brian Murphy & Paul McCaffrey )

Not the best place to get your sports info but when at work it is the best option I have

And it's starting to look like Lovie has done enough to save his job. The McCaskeys are probably jumping for joy because they won't have to eat the last year of his contract.

But Jerry Angelo still needs to go.

They aren't a total mirage, as Peppers has made us forget Ogunleye and A. Brown as the fodder they really are. They are decent enough, with a terrible OL, but enough talent to stay close enough. Patsies are just unreal right now, and Brady just gutted them easily.
