Joebirds55
With the season winding down, I figure id throw out a thread to get a feel for what moves people would take back. Whether it be a trade that didn't work out or a waiver drop/add that ended up not so good. Myself, I let go of Vincent Jackson for Greg Jennings around week 4 or so. Didn't really work out but Jennings could help in the playoffs I also dropped garçon for Andre Roberts in a WR bind, was hearing garçon may be done for te year so i let him go. Not looking good now. One move I'm happy I didn't make was to then trade my witten for vjax right before our deadline. I have gronk so I was gonna pull the trigger. Thankfully I waited and didn't do it
CaptainHook
I regret not bidding more for Drew Brees in my first auction draft. He went for about $20 lower than he probably should have. I had already spent a good chunk on Forte, Lynch, AJ Green, and Victor Cruz and was worried I wouldn't have been able to fill out my roster. At the very least I'd have driven the price up. The guy who got him is in first place. I'm second in points, and should make the playoffs, but my record isn't as good. I'd have been unstoppable with Brees. I ended up with Dalton, who has been very good for the price I paid!
Gourdeau
I regret trading Wes Welker and Mikel Leshoure AND Dez Bryant... been a rough year
bdub1988
I regret picking Peyton Hillis in the 7th round of my draft...I was thinking about both Reggie Wayne and V-Jax, who were both available, but I decided that since I already had Julio, AJ Green, and Antonio Brown a speculative RB pick was better. I'm 7-4 but if I had Julio, AJ, and Reggie or V-Jax I'd be pretty hard to beat this year.
bdom11
Only 3 moves I regret all year: 1. Picking Steven Jackson in the 4th round over Doug Martin 2. Picking Michael Vick in the 6th round over Matt Ryan. 3. Dropping Randal Cobb for basically nobody after week 3. Cobb got 2.4 points in my league that week and since then has gotten double digits every week.
whomper
I traded Andre Johnson 2 weeks ago for Stevie Johnson and Reggie Bush. I didnt want to but I was so paper thin at rb that I had to make the move. Now bush is in the doghouse, Stevie remains to be seen and Johnson is putting up fat stats
Do Work Son
Snagging Cobb off waivers after week 1 but then dropping him after 2 bad weeks...i thought he was a fluke. Biggest regret by far.
chinatown dragons
Drafting Ronnie Hillman with my last pick and holding onto him until week 6 (thinking McGahee would get hurt), and tehn dropping him and not being able to claim him on waivers. Not trading Ryan Matthews for Alfred Morris 3 weeks ago when presented with the trade.

Trojanmojo
Given the implosion of Hardcore Homers, I regret being so aggressive in trading my players away for future draft picks. Had I known there would be such a mass exodus, I would have just kept all my players and tried to aggressively win this year, future-be-damned. I thought I was doing the right thing in trying to build a winning franchise for the long haul but I learned a valuable lesson-- next year is not assured in any of these BOTH leagues. Trojanmojo
Don't fret...people are in working in the shadows as we speak to keep BoTH leagues alive. I hope you're right. IF all or the vast majority of the undecideds in HHFFL come back, we may still have hope. So, want your Chargers back? You' have 17 picks in the draft including 3 first rounders and 5 second rounder. I'd just take another team. Edited November 25, 2012 by Trojanmojo

Bronco Billy
Too numerous to mention all of them, but the one I really question myself on in a contract league was the trade where I acquired Ray Rice and what appears to be a top 4 2013 pick for my giving up (2) 2012 1st rounders that would have been RGIII and Kendall Wright if I had kept the picks. Rice has been a solid addition but isn't putting up the numbers I expected (thanks a ton Cam) and I saw Wright - and still see him - as the second coming of Marvin Harrison. Man, I was really waivering at the time when I made the deal. Thought a good move would have been playing for some now and also thought I had enough other pieces in place to make a championship run and then reloading next year, but with Rice underperforming FF-wise and E Manning stinking up the field it looks like it backfired, and that doesn't mention how RGIII has been positively killing it this year. If I don't recoup a stud with the 2013 pick it is going to be a disaster that very well could affect my team for a few years.
SpinalTapp
Drafting Ryan Williams over S.Ridley in our first keeper eligible round. I spent the next seven weeks making multiple trades to recover from that incorrect gut call. Thought RW was going to be the cowbell in AZ and Ridley would be mired in a NE RBBC. Ultimately, I ended up with DMartin and M.Forte - both non keepers - so I could make a run this year. Great this year...but still stings from a keeper perspective.
