Some guys I know on a sports broadcasting board think he was a great replacement for Tirico, prominent ESPN college game announcer, and so forth. My brother made the same comment week one about him being monotone and boring. Maybe he's just playing the straght man to Grudens over the top "this kid here is the greatest ______ ever!"
