Forgot My Name
In my league last year (12, PPR) 15 of the top 30 scorers were QBs. Barkley, Zeke, CMC, Gurley, Kamara were the RBs. - They'll all be gone when I pick @ 12 this year. Tyreek, Julio, Hopkins, Davante, Antonio, Thielen, Micheal Thomas & Juju were the WRs. - 4 of them will be gone. Kelce and Ertz were the TEs. - Kelce will be gone. Insane to go QB/TE at 12/13 ? Montana is da Man
In my opinion, yes it's 100% insane to go QB / TE at 12 and
Shaft
If 15 of the top 30 scorers were QBs, then you can wait to get the 15th.
League_Champion
Of course QB's are the top scorers, they have the ball in their hands every snap. That being said you don't need a top tier QB to win your league. You'll be just fine with a Winston, Prescott, etc. The same goes for TE's. Don't waste a pick. Rbrown
You can still wait on Qb. Unless it's a SuperFlex or two QB league, 12 teams means you can easily get one of the top 15 QBs. Assuming you start QB, Rb, Rb, Wr, Wr, Te, Flex in a 12 team league, that means there are 72 other positions to fill with the next 15 top scorers. Get yourself some of those guys. This^ In my mocks (mostly10 team) I'm generally seeing people drafting mahomes in the 2nd and then Watson late 4th but usually somewhere in 5th. After that QBs don't start coming off the board until 10th or 11th round. Even then I think some measure of panic sets in and there's a run on the position. turbotooslow
Come on, man! No, never do that. You are exhibiting 'Taco-like behavior.' Why draft a QB in the first 6-8 rounds (not to mention the freaking 1st!) when you can get a QB in rounds 7-13 that will literally score almost as much as the 'elite' QBs (2-3 points per game less). I could go on and on and on....
turbotooslow
Also, your league is not special. Every single persons league was the exact same. QBs score more points, which means they are deeper, which means you answered your own question. Don't reach on a QB because even the 15th ranked QB puts up only a few points per game less than the 2nd ranked QB.
