I don't think they will, I see them going 7-9 or maybe 8-8, but they are a shell of their former self, and even the former self was an underdog due to facts on the field.

Anyone voting for no...... I would like to offer up $100 bets to all takers on whether the Steelers finish better than 8-8. If they finish 8-8, it is a push. Over 8-8, you own me $100. Under 8-8, I owe you $100.

O.k. Let's hear it, who's in ?

A vote for no = a vote for "I want to annoy Menudo"

C'mon, $100, I'm assuming you are in H8, since you confidently started the thread....

Menudo -

How about this bet? Combination of games won by the Lions/Tigers versus the Steelers/Pirates.

Since there are 162 baseball games we multiply the football victories by 10 and add the total to the baseball victories.

It's all about you, again.

Or $100 on who gets more wins, the Ravens or the Steelers....

Now, run away little boy....

Rosie O'Donnell....all talk, no action, run away :D

Oh no, not name calling. What talk have I done in reference to the Steelers having a poor season or the Ravens having a better season than the Steelers. I voted that the Steelers would be over .500 this year. You are so defensive and such a fish that it is hardly fun any more. Go have another Dove bar.

If isn't fun anymore, then put me on your ignore list, otherwise, continue on.

Confident? Give me 10-1 odds and you're on.

Don't take my offer, then there is doubt in your chickbrain.

Why would I give you odds when you said that you don't feel they will reach .500. You started the poll making a statement and now you want odds. Typical.

Because then you will continue to PM me and alternate between calling me names and apologizing.

Oh making PM's public, the sign of true class. I tried to call a truce, but, you just continued on your way, nice work. Seriously, this is becoming ridiculously childish.

Back to the subject for a minute, it all depends on Roethlisberger and how (or if) he comes back from his injuries.....and when.

Anybody except a crazy azz blind homer would admit that without Big Ben on the field this team is average at best. Without him they are under .500 I would say. With him, probably over.

Well, it depends, some people are still under the impression that Roethlisberger is a slightly above average QB and product of the system. Those who watch the Steelers realize he is much more than that. My take is that without Ben for the entire season, which really doesn't seem like it is going to be the case, the Steelers are an 8-8 or 9-7 teams, as there is a lot of other talent there, and their defense can keep them in games. With Ben, they are anywhere from 11-5 to 15-1 range.
