theeohiostate
Just ordered my magic jack to be here on Friday. I'll let everyone know how it works. You can port your existing number over to it as well. Anyone else using it yet ? I'm paying $29.95 for digital phone per month now and this will give me the same connection for $50 for an entire year. Review Website to order

Yeah, let us know how it works. $50 was my cost for the device , shipping and the first year of service. It's $20/year after that

Not very impressed, but hey what can you expect for $20/year? Just hope your computer and internet service never go down. I think I'm having a bad experience due to my computer being a POS. Square
I've heard solid reviews on these. It looks like a gimmick but some of my friends say it works well.

AtomicCEO
I may switch to Skype. The pricing is about the same, only it's good software instead of that made for TV crap. You can get a local number and unlimited calls.

Randall
I tried it but couldn't get a local number. Their customer service numbers are nothing but answering machines. No help. I couldn't get ahold of anyone. I couldn't find anyway to port my existing number. It does work but many people complain about service and you can't make 911 calls.
