nhoops
Ok I'm 1-5 due to drafting Manning 1st, my RB starting slow and just plain not scoring more pnts than my opponent Standard scoring, passing TD's worth 4 pnts QB: Manning @ Hou McCown v. Tenn Brunell v. SF Both McCown and Brunell have better matchups, but do I bench Manning? He has had great games against Houston, but that was last year. Thoughts? Oh and @ WR I have Steve Smith on a bye, which 2 would you start (*starting now) WR: *Driver @ Minn (gotta start) *Moulds @ Oak (#1 guy and Holcomb likes him, but will game be on the ground with Moss inj?) TJ Housh @ Pitt (enough to go around in Pitt? will inj. hamper him?) Burelson v. GB (1st game back, logic says he'll post modest numbers) Thanks Guys! Wolv
The Brunell matchup looks so enticing! Normally I'd say stick with Manning, but at 1-5 why not take a chance? As for WR, you are starting the right 2. Could be lotsa scoring in the Buff game...

Sharpie
Shaking it up is not a bad idea at 1-5. I almost have to agree with starting Brunnell. Please see my post: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=119695
blaw23
I agree with starting Brunell, and the 2 WR you are starting are the right choice. I am debating whether to start Manning over Palmer since Palmer is vs. Pit. Edited October 19, 2005 by blaw23
Kicker22
I have McNabb and am benching him this week for Brunell...I am 4-2 so I would think you have less to lose. Roll the dice and start the hot hand. Check out my post.
Footballjoe
Bench Manning. Start Brunell or McClown. Edge will but up more big yardage this week. Portis may as well, so Brunell may not throw as much. McClown will throw all day IF he is starting.
T_bone65
I can never ever see benching Peyton Manning, but if you are 1-5 then what have you got to lose? Chances are he will go off if/when you do sit him but I am starting Brunell this week as well since I lost Bulger to injury.
cliaz
I'd have to bench Peyton for Brunell (man I feel dirty saying that.) The Colts will run the ball all over the texans this week. Brunell vs. 49ers - 250 yards and a couple of tds Peyton vs texans - 200 yards maybe 1 td
pedroz13
At 1- 5, trade Peyton. You have decent backups and you won't have to make the decisions week to week on Manning anymore.

nhoops
Just got offered Pittman for Brunell. I think I turn it down because Pittman could be back on the bench next week. Guy also has LT, Bell, Barber.....is Barber worth Brunell? What type of RB could I get for Manning or Brunell?
