Hugh 0ne
Hey Hugh ... as always, youdaman! I managed to make the postseason in both my leagues, and I've got some dilemmas at the WR/Flex positions League 1 - Semi-finals We start 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 WR/RB Flex. I've got D. Davis, C. Dillon and C. Brown as my RBs, and I was going to start them all at RB & Flex. Which leaves 2 WR spots available (standard scoring, point per reception): - A. Toomer vs KC - J. Horn vs CAR - A. Lelie @ BUF - E. Moulds vs DEN - K. Curtis vs PHI Ugly, I know. At this point, I'm leaning toward Toomer and Moulds, mainly because I have grown to hate Horn and Lelie, and Curtis seems to be done. Plus, Eli seems to be looking to Toomer, and with Holcomb playing, I think Moulds has a decent day. League 2 Pick 3 to start at WR/TE: - R. Wayne vs SD - T. Glenn @ WAS I think those 2 are no-brainers, so I'm really just looking for 1 more from my remaining options (standard scoring, NO points per reception): - M. Muhammad vs ATL - D. Stallworth vs CAR - T. Gonzalez @ NYG I'm thinking Muhammad here. Who would you go with? Thanks in advance! 1217026 If Holcomb plays, you gotta like Moulds. Take about a tale of 2 QB's. Under Losman, it's all Evans, and under Holcomb, it's all Moulds. IMO, with Bruce and Holt healthy, and Fitz at QB, Curtis is worthless. Bench please. Lelie. Yuck. Only 1 TD on the season, don't see him adding to that this week. Bench please. Well, Horn has been terrible, and now, enter Todd Boumann. Don't think that's going to help Horn's numbers. Bench please. Dude had 94 catches, 1399 yards, and 11 TD's last year, and now he's healthy and we're benching him. Hard to believe. I guess that leaves Toomer. Toomer and Moulds. That's what you said. I bench Glenn this week. Mr. Inconsistency is coming off a HUGH week, against a tough defense, he'll probably have a sub-par day. I would go Wayne, Muhammed and Gonzo. But don't expect much from Muhammed and Gonzo, but it should be more than you get from Glenn. I think Glenn disappears this week. Good luck. Hugh 0ne
Need 1 RB to go with LT. Gado at Ravens Caddy at NE Moats at Rams Thanks for the help. 1217031 Those are all nice options. There will probably be a lot of running in a close game for Gado, which should bring him some nice numbers. Caddy's back, and he's got a nice matchup. Good option. Moats looked great last week, albeit on minimal touches, but he has a GREAT matchup. I'd don't really know what to tell you. All should have nice games, all are coming off big weeks. Go with Caddy. Miner
performance scoring, no PPR........another RB to go with LT and Gado: Moats - great matchup Dunn - solid all year but tough matchup Willie - maybe he will showcase his speed on the turf, but will share carries Chester - will get all the carries with jamal out Ronnie - good matchup, but sharing carries am leaning towards Dunn...what do you think? Hugh 0ne
Hey Hughster! As always, I have RB issues. Need 2. Parker @ MIN - Speedy Parker a better bet than The Bus? G. Jones vs. SF - Is Fragile Fred going to play? C. Brown vs. SEA - Not a great matchup, but is Henry out? C. Taylor vs. GB - Great matchup, especially if Lewis is out. 1217037 Brown's dinged, but with Henry out, he'll get the carries. The problem will be, how many before the game is out of hand and they abandon the run. I can see Brown getting a receiving TD in this game. Maybe 50 rushing, 50 receiving and a TD. Not bad, and worthy of a start given your other options. I happen to like Parker against the Vikes. He's a sneaky fast RB going against the Vikes who allow 113 YPG, and have allowed 13 rushing TD's YTD. Looks like Taylor is back, so Jones won't get the touches to be worthy of a start. Taylor is a nice option if Lewis is out. Although the Pack rush defense has been pretty good this year. Tough call if Lewis sits, but I think I'd plug in Taylor over Parker. Hugh 0ne
Good Afternoon Hugh, Same story, different week...I need a flex guy and a WR out of this sad-sack group: Wilford v SF Moats @ STL Reggie Brown @ STL Glenn @ WAS Toomer v KC (I am facing Eli) Right now I am leaning towards Moats and Brown. Any thoughts? Thanks! GDawg 1217048 I would go Moats and Toomer. Moats has a terrific matchup, and did well in his debut last week. I don't think McMahon can get it done, so I'd bench Brown. Glenn is inconsistent, and has the tough matchup, I'd bench him. Then I think Toomer is a better option than Wilford. Yep. Moats and Toomer. Puddy
I'm in this somewhat important game that you may be familiar with this week. I've been riding Brees (insert ghey joke here) and many are expecting a shootout with Indy. However, Indy's D has been tough all year. I have Delhomme on the road against New Orleans. What ya thinkin' 1217067
mls13
HUGH! YOU THE MAN! I hate to say it but I basically need you to pick my whole lineup this week. Well, it's not that bad, but it's pretty bad. The only sure things I have this week are Edge and Harrison. After that... QB- Brees or Gerrard - I say Gerrard due to match up #2 RB - Parker? Houston? Bettis? #2 and #3 WR - Branch? Wilford? KRob? DJack? EParker? Flex - take your pick of leftover WRs and RBs above. TE - I'm starting Stevens but there are some guys out there, all crap shoots: Martin, Anderson, Putzier, Scaife Right now I'm going with Gerrard, Harrison, KRob, Wilford, Edge, Houston, Stevens, WParker. (Edited to say I just picked up Wells for Goings, so IF Dom doesn't play you can add Wells into the mix) Thanks for the help man! Hugh 0ne
Hey Hugh.... Well I asked rew these same questions lets see what you think. *players I am leaning toward League1 Bledsoe or *Hasselbeck League2 *Bledsoe or Dehlomme League3 (pick 2) Holt *Steve Smith *Fitzgerald What do you think? Hey missed you last week in MVP 1217050 Agree on Hasselbeck. Problem with Hass this week is that this game could be over early, which would diminish the pass attempts by Hass, hurting his numbers. But he's still a better option than Bledsoe against a tough divisional defense. Disagree with you on the second. Delhomme with a decent matchup and Steve Smith is a better option than Bledsoe against the Skins. By far. Smith is a no-brainer. I really like Holt at home though. I'd start him over Fitz. Fitz should have a decent game, but his 23 yard performance last week would have me concerned enough to start Holt. Good luck.

Hugh 0ne
Hugh:In Fantasy Superbowl this week. Need advice on which 2 RB's to start. I have Tatum Bell, Mike Anderson, Corey Dillon, TJ Duckett, and Antwain Smith. Rest of my team I plan on starting: Hasselbeck @ TEN A. Boldin @ Hou K. Johnson @ WAS (Other WR's are N. Burleson, Bryant Johnson, K. Curtis) J. Shockey vs KC Def = Chicago vs Atl (Other team D Baltimore) Your advice is appreciated! Thx 1217058 Mike Anderson and Corey Dillon. Bell's hit or miss, Duckett's strictly a short yardage back, and Smith is in a RBBC with a tough matchup.
saintzguy
Hugh, Need some help picking between less than stellar WR's. In a league where we get points for receptions too. Pick 3 Reggie Brown @ STL nice matchup but McMahon????? Roy Williams VS Cincy Most talent...bad offense Wilford vs SF Great Matchup will Gerrard throw it or run it. A. Bryant @ Oak Will Frye use him? Mark Clayton vs GB Can he keep up the momentum? Derrick Mason vs GB Do his public complaints het him more deep looks? K Rob vs Pitt Is he really the goto guy in a tough matchup? Help me pick the best out of this bunch. Thanks!!!!! Edited December 16, 2005 by saintzguy

Hugh 0ne
I'm 11-2 in 12 team redreaft, standard scoring with bonuses for +300/+100 yds. I had bye last week and am playing hot team this week. (*starter) QB: *Garrard v. SF, Brunell v. Dal (dropped Favre for Garrard) RB: *Alexander @ Tenn, Caddy @ NE, S.Jackson v. Philly, MMorris @ Tenn, Moats @ STL WR: *C.Johnson @ DET, *TJ Housh @ DET, *Glenn @ Wash, Driver @ Bal TE: Crumpler @ Chic K: Graham @ DET D: Giants v. KC So who's a better play @ #2 RB: Caddy(tough D), Jackson (Dissapointing), or Moats (RBBC) @ #3 WR: TJ Housh (have Chad), or Driver. Right now I'm leaning towards Caddy and TJ Housh. Thoughts? Thanks! 1217066 You got 'em right again Hoops. FWIW, I like all 3 RB's this week, but think the Caddy's back, so you go with him. Housh over Driver is a smart play. Eagle2003
Need to start 1 QB and 3 WR......my RBs are good with LJ and Portis. Garrard, David QB JAC vs SF McNair, Steve QB TEN vs SEA Vick, Michael QB ATL @CHI Bryant, Antonio WR CLE @OAK Chambers, Chris WR MIA vs NYJ Horn, Joe WR NO vs CAR Curtis, Kevin WR STL vs PHI Witten, Jason TE DAL @WAS I picked up Garrard thinking I might start him this week, with the matchups of the other QBs. I can also pick up Wilford, Mark Clayton, Cooley, Heap, Reggie Brown etc. to start at receiver. Standard performance scoring

Wolv
Okie doke RB for my flex: C. Taylor vs GB T. Bell vs Buff Houston vs Mia I'm leaning towards Taylor if Lewis indeed is out. Shanny sux, and Houston has a tougher matchup than Taylor I think... WR issue: DJax seems to be very healthy. Will he go a full game? Right now I have R. Williams vs Cincy and Plax vs KC penciled in. Thanks Hugh!
Hugh 0ne
I'm in this somewhat important game that you may be familiar with this week. I've been riding Brees (insert ghey joke here) and many are expecting a shootout with Indy. However, Indy's D has been tough all year. I have Delhomme on the road against New Orleans. What ya thinkin' 1217067 Delhomme or Brees. Interesting. Let's have a looksie: Delhomme YTD: 2822 yards, 19 TD's, 14 INT's. Brees YTD: 3092 yards, 22 TD's, 12 INT's. Advantage Brees. Indy Pass defense: 189.3 YPG, 13 TD's. New Orleans pass defense: 180 YPG, 17 TD's. So, the defenses are closer than you'd think, but advantage Delhomme. I think they'll both post similar yardage, based on their numbers and matchups. I think Delhomme has a chance to throw more TD's. And Delhomme has Steve Smith, who can bust one any time. By a hair, I'd recommend Delhomme over Brees this week. So feel free to "ride" Delhomme.
Hugh 0ne
Ok, playoffs.I have K Jones-out J JOnes-sucks G Jones-taylor in W Parker Bettis Edited to say...I just picked up C. HOuston so throw him in the mix... Who would you start for 2 rb's? I am thinking about both parker and bettis...what do you think? 1217072 Unfortunately for Houston, I read somewhere that Edwards plans on using BJ Askew, the FB, as well, making yet another team into a full blown RBBC. I'd go with Parker and Julius. I'd hate to start 2 RB's on the same team. It kinda leaves you with no hope. Julius, even with the tough matchup, even in a RBBC, should get you some nice yards. Hugh 0ne
Last week I started Anderson and Foster and still managed to win. Now I'm one game away from the Superbowl and need to pick 2 RBs Anderson @BUF Bell @BUF Foster @NO Don't know about Anderson after last week. Bell got more carries and yards. Who knows with Shanahan. I have started both together in the past, but Foster's matchup may be too good to pass up. Also I have to choose between MIN vs PIT and ATL @CHI. I don't want to go against PIT so I'm gonna have to go with ATL. Here's the rest of my starters: QB – Delhomme WR - Harrison, Boldin, Engram TE – Troupe K - Tynes Def – Falcons or Vikings 1217090 Anderson and Foster. Bell's too risky. Atlanta's a no-brainer here.

General Itals
The boards are lucky to have you doing this. I haven't been by all year long to ask a question, but since my inferior team managed to unceremoniously dump yo mama's team last week, I find myself in a quandry. Do I start at QB... Mike Vick against Chicago or... Jake Delhomme against NO... or PU a guy like Frerotte against the Jets... Right now I'm starting Delhomme based on schedule depsite the fact that he hasn't played as well as the other two. Do you think that Vick can come through against the top ranked Bear's D or that Frerotte could surprise and put up more points than Delhomme?
