Doesn't know you solve for those by inserting the word:

 

eg. He is getting less done at work vs. Him is getting less done at work.

 

or

 

I am getting less done at work vs. Me is getting less done at work.

Hasn't read the book, so he doesn't know that the rule changes when it's the object of a preposition. "At" is the preposition in this case.
