2004 25 Ahmad Carroll CB Arkansas - grabs even when wearing boxing gloves.

2003 29 Nick Barnett LB Oregon State - ok

2002 20 Javon Walker WR Florida State - Injured

2001 10 Jamal Reynolds DE Florida State - would you like fries with that?

2000 14 Bubba Franks TE Miami (FL) - look up overrated in the dictionary

1999 25 Antwan Edwards DB Clemson - c'mon

1998 19 Vonnie Holliday - coulda had Randy Moss

Nice job by the Steelers.

I think Sherman should have decined the GM job or picked one himself because he wasn't qualified. If he had he would still be working today imo.

Holliday would have worked out better had the Pack not gone after Joe Johnson.

Yep, I think those who have said that Sherm the GM finally got Sherm the Coach fired are right on...

Patriots 1st round picks 2001-2005:

2001: Richard Seymour

2002: Dan Graham

2003: Ty Warren

2004: Vince Wilfork, Ben Watson

2005: Logan Mankins

Seems like the philosophy is to keep adding beef up front early. TEs, D-Linemen, and O-Linemen. I predict they Pats break trend this year and draft a WR, RB, LB, or DB in the first round this year. Unless they get a shot at a great tweener DE that they will convert to OLB.

Colts

2005 Marlin Jackson

2004 Bob Sanders (All Pro/Pro Bowler)

2003 Dallas Clark

2002 Dwight Freeney (All Pro/Pro Bowler)

2001 Reggie Wayne

2000 Rob Morris (only "bust" on the list, and he's still on the team)

1999 Edgerrin James (All Pro/Pro Bowler)

1998 Peyton Manning (All Pro/Pro Bowler)

1997 Tarik Glenn (Pro Bowler)

1996 Marvin Harrison (All Pro/Pro Bowler)

The Pats best draft pick was a sixth rounder. :D
