DMD
Guess Bob McNair wants an NFL version of "Complete Makeover" "Contrary to some reports, I have not been fired," Casserly said. "Those are untrue. I could have stayed. But there are other things I want to pursue." Chronicle article
godtomsatan
The wire stories make this sound like it's a shakeup, but this has been going around for months that Casserly was staying on through the draft. I'm confused....
Savage Beatings
I just wanted to stay long enough to screw up this slam dunk of a draft pick. Now that my work is irreversibly done, I'll be seeing ya!
MikesVikes
The team just picked up Antowain. His job was complete. No where to go but down.

loyalboyd
In other news, the New Orleans Saints have announced the signing of a new GM. 1461212[/snapback] Who was it. But I think this draft was a great draft for the Texans. They will all be proud of it. But the funny thing is they stepped up to the plate and said build for the future and not now. Down the road everyone is going to say the same thing about this class as they say about the class of the Panthers that got Steve Smith and company in that unbelievable draft. pedroz13
Anyone else think he knew he was on his way out (along with manangement, coaches, front office) and that he's set up to be the fall guy in case Mario doesn't pan out to be worthy of #1 overall? I sort of get the feeling that he went through the motions of explaining himself over and over knowing that he was on his way out. Isn't he going to work for the NFL front office or something? I could be wrong of course, but thats the feeling I get. I'll bet he wanted to take Reggie but was talked out of it by others....and since he was on his way out he didn't mind being the fall guy. Kid Cid
Casserly leaving is the best thing that could have happened to the Texans. He's a complete idiot.
