BAKE
I have Hasselbeck & Alexander AND He has Favre. Fair Trade: Do I Trade Driver for Jackson?
dingos
I don't know. Seems fair on paper since Javon Walker is gone and the Pack sucks. Maybe look to deal Hass if you don't want so many seachickens.
Men In Tights
I think it is a fair trade but I wouldn't do it. DJax is getting the injury bug and DD is the #1 in Green Bay. Regardless of how bad everyone thinks they will suck, DD is the #1, go to guy, for Brett Favre.
muck
Without boring you with the details, I did some analysis a few years back that showed that it was neither good nor bad to start two players from the same team ... EXCEPT ... the QB and WR1. So, don't trade for DJax unless you're prepared to trade Hasslebeck. That said, I like Driver more than DJax right now. Djax is nice but look into his knee injury,
MustOfBeenDrunk
I also like Driver over Djax this year
jake_the_builder
I like Driver over DJax, plus if you do this trade and Sea. blows one week, you are screwed!
Seahawks21
DJax is gonna be absolutely huge this year. I look for Shaun's production to go down ever so slightly because of his new phat contract, and Darrell (referred to by some locally as Darnell) is always willing to pick up the slack. From what I've heard the knee is good. He also gets double-teamed less than just about any #1 receiver out there (okay, I forgot Marvin) due to the club's # of targets. He was on pace for a HUGE 100-1500 type season last year before he got hurt. I like Driver as well, but everything about that Packer situation to me just reeks like something to stay away from, while things have never been better in Seatown. Go with Cactus Jackson. XXXXX
I definately like D.Driver alot more this year to be a top 10 WR than I trust Djax to be in that category.
Otis
DJax > Driver
muck
DJax > Driver ...next year maybe. Not this year, though.
Ralph Furley
Too many eggs in that basket. Make the trade. I could see myself getting really pissed off on a bad Seattle day.
Zooty
I would get Driver I don't like having QBs & Wrs fro the same team either
fitzkek
I would get Driver I don't like having QBs & Wrs fro the same team either Why not? I won my league last year due to the fact that I had C.Palmer tossing to Houshy. Not a sexy combo, but very productive.
dingos
Interestingly enough, thehuddle mock draft has Driver & D-Jax right next to each other.
pistolpete2432
Interestingly enough, thehuddle mock draft has Driver & D-Jax right next to each other. Thats weird because in my league they were consecutive wrs taken with a qb in the middle
bushwacked
Djax has always been an underestimated FF WR....If he is healthy this year he outperforms Driver fairly easily. He was putting up serious #'s last year.
DamDarDan
If you are making an "EVEN" trade... why are you trading?? You only trade if you are improving your team!! Not too mention... w/ a true #2 in Seattle (Burleson), he will probably steal some production from DJax! Doc Holliday
If you are making an "EVEN" trade... why are you trading?? You only trade if you are improving your team!! If both were 100 percent healthy..I would take Jackson in a heartbeat as I think the number 1 WR for Seattle this year will get off. ....But..Jackson is not 100 percent so I say no .
