Swiss Cheezhead
I heard Joe Buck say something about "after the half Burress has had..." and that's about all I caught. Then I notice Burress riding pine during a critical drive. Is it because of pure suckitude or what?
Flip_Side
Not sure, I need him in there! Even if it's just to pick up garbage points, I NEED him badly.

gilthorp
I know he mishandled one pass that got picked and I know he caught his only pass and promptly coughed it up....so that could be why.
Flip_Side
Anyone think he'll play the second half, or is he done for the game?
smithkt
He's had an easy catch bounce off his hands for an int and failed to secure the ball on another reception leading to a fumble. I think Coughlin was sending a message.

CD6405
Or we could all wait and actually see the real answer instead of making up answers.
Squeegiebo
Burress played so incrediby awfully in the first half. The guy is terrible. Reminds me of why I was so happy to see him leave Pittsburgh. He has the Randy Moss attitude/work ethinc with 1/10 the talent.
CD6405
and there is your answer, its not his back from Joe Buck. Edited September 24, 2006 by CD6405

Looks like you guys need a WR like Plax back, your offense looked horrible today.

You want a player who is going to play when he feels like it, never lay out for a ball, never sacrifice his body, you can have him. I don't care how bad our pass offense is, I will never want a WR like Plax back.
giantsfan
Here's the deal on Plax. The guy has the talent to be very good, but he is such a punk and has such an attitude he can go to he**. What's funny is he is not much better than TO attitude wise. With this game over I hope Coughlin benches him and some of the OL for the rest of the game. H8tank
Tim Carter will mean more to NYG than Plax in a couple years.
giantsfan
Tim Carter will mean more to NYG than Plax in a couple years. Big problem with that is Carter is ALWAYS hurt. If he stays healthy you may be right, but he NEVER does that EVER.
