BeeR
Off the top of my head I HIT ON: - Manning doing well but not dazzling (like most seemed to expect) - Ditto L Johnson - Bush - expected erratic play and split w/McAllister - Portis - shoulder didn't worry me - Dal Clark being overrated (again) - NY passing game, esp Coles (although even I didn't expect this much at this point) - Reggie Brown - Culpepper - FWP - Kv Jones. Ignore the one big week, he's been overrated since college - Roy Wms. Erratic as hell and nicked up, surprise surprise I MISSED ON: - McNabb. Thought he'd be OK but nothing like this - Brees. Thought injury and new team would have him in so-so status at best - C Taylor. Thought he would be doing better - Most OAK players. I didn't expect greatness but thought the O would at least be productive SOMETIMES. - Various TEs who aren't doing as well as expected, take your pick (Miller Gonzo etc etc) - Ward - Owens and (somewhat) Bledsoe - Thought EJ and AZ in general would be better Yours? Roy Williams? He got knocked out of a game and played like a beast the next week. I'd consider that a miss
Hat Trick
Still too early to tell yet IMO give it a few more weeks......but I was pimping Foster and Gonzo hard core during draft time.

LooGie
Yeah Tatum Bell looks terrible yah, and it only took him 5 weeks
i_am_the_swammi
yah, and it only took him 5 weeks Kinda like LJ last year, right? And Kevin Jones has been Top-10 this year....hard to say you were right about him being overrated, unless you had him in your Top-5.
Flip_Side
Roy Williams was a miss, the guy is beasting.
I'm Rick James Bitch
I nailed Culpep for the bust he is. Histroricaly, he has been very slow to learn new offenses and his OL sucks. I told my buddies he was undraftable and they laughed. He's just landed on our WW Thought Rudi got fat on cupcake matchups the last 2 years and would drop off this year against a brutal run schedule. It is a little early to tel, but that may be happening Didn't see Tiki not getting touches in the red zone or the Texans inability to run at ball

Never heard of him. yah, and Kevin Jones had like one bad game I thought he was doing great this year, ESPECIALLY based on his usual draft spot. LooGie
I predicted Edge and LaMont to be in the same tier this year. I just missed the tier

piratesownninjas
- Kv Jones. Ignore the one big week, he's been overrated since college He's had three big weeks. and even in his bad games he's still piled up receving yards. I think you may need to watch some more games. And is it really that hard to type in the e-in in Kevin??

Grits and Shins
My biggest "swing and a miss" ... Mike friggin Bell. I was dead on about CPep though ... just ask FishFreak. Edited October 23, 2006 by Grits and Shins
Cunning Runt
And how much better do you want Chester Taylor to do? He was ranked #12 in our league prior to yesterday and is sure to leapfrog into the top 10 after this week. Probably like 7-8. Pretty damm good if you ask me. The Irish Doggy
Kitna-said he'd be a great late round pick... I really liked Kitna, Bulger, and McNabb this year (although who knew it would be this sweet). Playing with Bulger and Kitna in Outraged. I'm surprised more people didn't see Kitna coming, or at least think it was a good bet. Same with Bulger. Also liked LJ Smith and Coles. Totally missed on Javon Walker. I was convinced he wouldn't be very good right about now and then heat up for the second half. Also didn't see Chester Taylor and Kevin Jones being very good.
