cre8tiff
I, as many I am sure, placed some stock in Lienart performing decently following two quality starts. One of which was against CHI. That seemed proof enough for me. Of course, then Dennis the Raging Bull fires his Offensive Coordinator in a misplaced bout of what appeared to be roid-rage. So our impressionable lad took a nose-dive. The question of the hour is: Does the Cards week off give Leinart new life, or is the rook damaged goods now? Or is the answer somewhere in between? They have a remaining soft schedule versus the pass, but they did Ditka versus Green Bay. What do you guys think?
Bronco Billy
I think if you're looking for a rookie QB to carry your FF team in any manner you're in big trouble.

Nope, I have Manning and Kitna. Had looked to platoon Leinart with Kitna.
Bronco Billy
Nope, I have Manning and Kitna. Had looked to platoon Leinart with Kitna. Kitna has had his bye. You need to trade either he or Manning & strengthen another position. Leinart is serviceable as a #2 QB, which hopefully won't come into play the rest of the year. cre8tiff
Sorry, I should have been more clear. We start TWO QBs in a performance PPR league. Thanks for the advice, though. What I really want to do is start a discussion on Lienart's prospects moving forward.

What I really want to do is start a discussion on Lienart's prospects moving forward. Here, since no one else is willing to play along, I will I too had a small Leinart experiment, thinking he could be a good enough QB for a FF team, but after remembering how terrible of an HC Denny is, and now having a new OC (who apparently isn't crap) I'm not gonna wait for him. I think after his crappy showings, he's a safe drop the WW. And I was relying on him to carry my team, as I drafted Bledsoe and Warner Oh well. Akfatha
i have leinart and i will prolly start him most of the rest of the year. im in a keeper league so when i picked him up, it was highly looking forward to the future. but i do think he can be good for the rest of the year. Vet
I think they'll sign Jeff George and bench Leinart.
Hardrocker
Until they field a professional offensive line...what difference does it make who the QB is???

Square
I vote Pumpkin. I thought he had some potential after the showing against CHI. I'd only have him on my roster in a keeper league (they might actually hire a good coach in AZ next year....I mean...its technically possible). I dropped Leinart for Kitna this week. I'm not saying that Leinart is terrible, but after he struggled against OAK...he isn't a reliable start IMO. Good luck.
