Jedi
Mr. and Mrs. Chavez = Good company! Yes indeed. Oh and, in case Sky can not remember, he did admit that Favre belonged in the HOF.

bushwacked
all day Saturday we got to enjoy scenic North Dakota and eastern Montana - waking up on Monday morning to a fresh snowfall up in the Cascades made it all worth it. Plus we arrived about a half hour early. Well ND and eastern Montana sucks....but I've never been on a train...can't imagine it would be near as cool as the numerous road trips I've taken through Montana....but....how was the train ride from Bozeman MT due west to Seattle, and how long did that take? Awesome country through there! Did you go through Wenatchee? Edited December 1, 2006 by bushwacked

I've made the drive from laCrosse to seattle 3 times..... my best time was 46 hours - stopping only for gas... never again. the nice thing is you hop on i-90 & never leave it.... except you get to go through beautiful south dakota instead of north. At least you also get to go through a little of Wyoming & also hit the black hills going i-90. BTW...it's a 3-1/2 flight and just as pretty. Chavez
BTW...it's a 3-1/2 flight and just as pretty. But you can't show up 5 minutes before your flight leaves, breeze through non-existent security, and bring your own 12-pack of beer/bottle of booze like you can on a train. I am planning on Amtrak for every trip east of the Mississippi from here on out.
