T_bone65
good to see you are okay. I ahve that with Penicillian (sp?). It will kill me. +1 Glad to hear that everything worked out ok. I had knee replacement surgery on the 30th of January and it opened an entire can of worms as far as heart problems goes. I am now on heart medication for at least the next 6 months and have to keep undergoing heart tests and stress test when I am able to. Best of luck with everything. ChuckB
Glad yer alright, allergic reactions are amazing. I used to want to be a fire fighter when I grew up so I took the EMT class and while doing my ER clinicals a girl was wheeled in and her body was all contorted(sp?) her head was looking straight up as if she had a 90 degree angle in her neck, her arms and hands were pulled in and twisted, and her legs were also contorted......She looked like a severely physically disabled person and her mother was freakin out......Turns out she was in a couple days earlier for something else and they prescribed a drug for whatever her ailment was and she had a severe allrgic reaction. They gave her benadryl and after a little while she was a very attractive normal looking sleepy girl. It was the craziest thing. Oh and T bone hope everything goes well for you

Savage Beatings
These stories are also a good anecdotal argument against buying cheap prescription drugs over the internet (you know who you are Mr. Viagra). Because you just never really know what you are getting, and so you can't be sure what to tell an EMT if you do have an allergic reaction. You'd be amazed at how many people take antibiotics they've been given by other people. It happens all the time. Glad you turned out ok Isle! Be sure you carry a card in your wallet from now on that lists the allergy. In case of an emergency a list of current medications and allergies is gold. wildcat2334
It wasn't Levaquin was it? That stuff is lethal. I had bad episode with dat sh1t - some of these hardcore antiobiotics will seriously mess you up. Good to hear it was only temporary. -
