Puddy
This is more a symbollic hit than economic. We are losing a long-time corporate headquarters but the total number of jobs at risk is 200. The real question is what do we change the name of Comerica Park too

The real question is what do we change the name of Comerica Park too GM park? No Chrysler Stadium? I don't think so. Ford Field? That would be moranic Delphi Park? Umm, no. Tiger Stadium Coney Dog Field? Not bad It's not looking good. I agree with you about the symbolism though but 200 jobs now but how many over the next few years? Interesting. TimC
That would be the Tigers, Pistons, and Wings. Are you saying if we throw in all three and move the Lions to LA, then maybe the Canadians would take Detroit off our hands?

As bad as Detroit is right now, Canada is still Canada the last time I checked. They're pretty much still only good for Hockey, Strip Joints, 19 and up bars, and Don Cherry. Plus they wouldn't want our crime or ChuckB.
