Hat Trick
He came out to the media and is now stating he had jewelry in the secret department of the water bottle, and the Miami police department never gave it back to him. The Miami Police Dept are denying it. Bronco Billy
@ biting the hand of the department that is doing everything to cover Vick's sorry arse in this. Now the PD is in a hugh bind - how do they go back to the original story of Vick transporting drugs without looking like complete fools, and if they don't go back to the original story how do they explain away Vick's claims? Stupid is as stupid does...
Bill Swerski
Speaking of stupid, everybody had forgotten about this until Vick brought it up out of the blue the other day. Maybe Ron Mexico needs to hire a new publicist... or a publicist.
Footballjoe
Didn't Vick throw the bottle away or allow the police to take it. Why would he leave it behind if it had jewely in it?
The Wolf
"I have had that bottle for years, for a long time," Vick told reporters gathered for the Falcons' announcement about the trade of Matt Schaub, Vick's backup. "If you had seen the bottle, you would have never known there was any jewelry in there," he said. "I have had things stolen out of hotels. But I had never checked it through the airport." I find this hard to agree with...he's had the bottle for that long and never once checked it at airport security? Even if this story is true, why not just open the compartment up and show the officers the jewelry?
