piratesownninjas
Receptions 0-99 2 point for every 1 Reggie Bush is a monster in this scoring system... His receptions alone are the equivalent to 30 td's...
Gopher
Last I heard, we had 5/12 people..... Looks like I'm up. I'll make my pick now.

His receptions alone are the equivalent to 30 td's... It's the scoring system we have in the Cheating Bastatges League. SJax and LT were the real monsters last season. Westbrook, Gore and Jones Drew did very well too. WR's get 1 pt RB's get 1 1/2 PPR and TE's get the 2 points.

The first seven picks went pretty much as I expected. With 1.5 ppr for rb's I was hoping Bush would fall to me. He had 85 receptions last year so I don't know if he'll improve on that. I do however expect his yardage and td totals to increase. Drafting out of the 8 hole is not an envious spot IMO. I rather be up front or at the tail end. Still it's a challenging spot to draft from and I'm gonna have to make good picks to put together a decent team. I think I'm in a draft spot that'll allow me to take some risks. We'll see how those picks turn out at the end of the season.

He was the 11th highest RB last year.
Gopher
What are the roster requirements for this draft? I looked at the site, but this can't be right.... Starting Lineup Setup Total Starters: 8 Number of Starting QBs: 1 Number of Starting RBs: 2 Number of Starting WR+TEs: 1 Number of Starting PKs: 2 Number of Starting DT+DEs: 2 Number of Starting LBs: 2-3 Number of Starting CB+Ss:

And with Portis healthy I dont think you see those #'s from Betts this season which puts Rudi at 10. Right where I drafted him!

alchico
are we drafting like a dynasty? or just as a redraft? I need to know before i make my 2nd pick I saw a couple of guys talking about this in the chat on the site. Several said they were drafting as if a dynasty. It won't be a very good representation if some are and some are not.

I'm not saying it is a dynasty just that a couple are drafting as if it is. I believe it was intended to be a redraft

DocNiner52
Well, if we're drafting like it's a dynasty league then I'm satified with my first 2 picks, RB Reggie Bushand TE Antonio Gates. The scoring systemhelps both my players as well. I may have jumped the gun a little in taking Gates at 2.05. I'm certain he wouldn't have been around for my 3rd round pick. Getting 2 pts a catch will definitely make him as valuable as a #1 wr.
Gopher
are these roster settings correct?? 1 wr or te? I doubt it. Randall, can you clarify the roster requirements, as well as whether this is a dynasty? Number of rounds. Maybe I drank too much this weekend, but all of this is a little foggy to me right now...... DocNiner52
I won't be able to use the computer during the day at work tomorrow. I could get in trouble if caught. So, I've went ahead and pre-drafted enough players to cover rounds 3 &4.
Randall
Today and I had to work and didn't read the complaints until I got home. Of course anyone could have brought up what they wanted before the draft. The roster size seems to have been an aberation or wasn't saved.
