tonyr0802
Caught this on Roto, anyone have more info or updates? Bills TE Kevin Everett was taken off the field in an ambulance on Sunday.Everett appeared to lose control of his extremities after injuring his neck making a special teams tackle. He was on the ground for a significant amount of time and the injury appears to be very serious.

dabuffbills
looks like a spine injury and Everett wasn't the only one injured... http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Atex...p&type=lgns

Egret
I saw a bit of the guys on the sidelines after the play. Players on both sides looked upset.
tonyr0802
NBC's Peter King said that the Bills won't have an update on Kevin Everett until the morning. Not a great sign. budlitebrad
That Buffalo defense is going to be pretty weak this season.

peepinmofo
That Buffalo defense is going to be pretty weak this season. First of all, this post is classless. Second, he plays TE, and has nothing to do with the defense.
Chavez
Best wishes to him. Football is a violent sport, but anyone with an ounce of integrity wants to knock the other guy on his ass and shake his hand at the end of the game. budlitebrad
Classy First of all, this post is classless. Second, he plays TE, and has nothing to do with the defense. Someone posted a link about all the Buffalo injuries. I commented about it. How is that classless? I swear, for every injury thread posted there are 10 guys waiting to jump on anyone who makes a reply that is "classless". Chavez
Someone posted a link about all the Buffalo injuries. I commented about it. How is that classless? I think it was interpreted that this was a thread solely to wish Kevin Everett well (as if he'lll read it, but that isn't the point). peepinmofo
I think it was interpreted that this was a thread solely to wish Kevin Everett well (as if he'lll read it, but that isn't the point). Has nothing to do with wether he reads it or not, but has everything to do with a post regarding nothing that has to do with something that is serious like this. If LT had this injury, and I simply posted "Chargers Defense will suck this year", what in Gods name does that have to do with anything regading the subject? If you want to state it, no matter how true it may be, start a new thread. Its one thing to hijack a thread, but its another to hijack a thread when someones life is at stake. Chavez
Well, I've "known" brad for a few years and he isn't a twat, so I'm more than willing to give him benefit of the doubt. I won't argue with his perception that there are plenty of people who lurk around waiting to be offended though - but that isn't particuarly unique to the Huddle either. budlitebrad
EDIT: I'll reserve my sarcasm for another time and end the conversation. Anyways, back on topic, hopefully Kevin makes it out of emergency surgery ok tonight. Edited September 10, 2007 by budlitebrad

Ive "known" him a couple years now too, and agree he isnt a twat, but I just thought his post wasnt necessary here. That is all... EDIT: I'll reserve my sarcasm for another time and end the conversation. Anyways, back on topic, hopefully Kevin makes it out of emergency surgery ok tonight. Thanks. I know you are better than the post made you sound... Im just really bummed by the whole thing and apologize if I take it more seriously than I should. I guess its tough to know how Jets fans felt with Dennis Byrd, or any other team with a player with a major injury. Best wishes to KE. I wasn't lurking around waiting to call him classless, but if someone is going to post something that I view as a dumbass post, I'm going to call them out on it. Brad, don't be so sensitive.
