Easy n Dirty
I had high hopes for him after some of the stuff I read here in the preseason, and especially after Terry Glenn went down. But now, after 3 games he's only gotten 13 passes thrown his way, with 6 catches for 78 yards total. Seems to have as many drops as catches from what little I've seen (partially due to a broken finger I guess), and all of this while the Cowboys' offense is clicking on all cylinders. I'm thinking of cutting bait on this guy, was wondering what others thought and also what the latest prognosis is on the return of Terry Glenn. policyvote
If I were Tony Romo, and I saw Crayton drop that TD the other night . . . I'd never throw his way again. Peace policy
tomfin2000
I'll probably cut him today. I'm sure the broken pinky is an issue, and the dropped TD didn't help, but he just doesn't seem to be in the flow of the offense. He'd probably have a couple of decent games, but he's not looking like a guy that I would ever want in my starting lineup or couldn't replace with half a dozen other WRs that are sitting on the waiver wire every week. rattsass
Crayton hardly ever dropped a pass before he tore up his pinky. Go ahead a drop him now if you want, but I still think there is potential once he gets over this injury. I'm keeping him in deeper leagues. For now..... Crayton's gotta do something in the next week or two or I'll have to get rid of him. The latest on the Cowboys' web site predicts Glenn will play in week 9 after their bye. HowboutthemCowboys
I made a few posts warning people about Crayton prior to week one. Crayton's not a bad wr but there are'nt enough balls to go around to make him ff worthy except in large leagues.

I don't understand why Crayton doesn't have better numbers when opposing defenses have gotta be doubling up on T.O.
HowboutthemCowboys
I don't understand why Crayton doesn't have better numbers when opposing defenses have gotta be doubling up on T.O. Crayton has 13 targets in 3 games. Witten has been getting open and getting ALOT of passes thrown his way. Double team or not, T.O.'s been open... yo mama
Meh. Crayton is like 6 for 13 for a poor 46.15% reception ratio, and he's got 1 fumble to no TDs. You just can't put enough lipstick on that pig to make me want to pucker up. Sam Hurd, on the other hand, is on the right side of that 50% reception ratio (57.14% to be exact), and has 1 TD and no fumbles. And despite getting half as many passes thrown his way, Hurd has been targeted in the red zone just as many times as Crayton (2 each). If I had any inclination whatsoever that Hurd might get more passes thrown his way, he'd be the guy I'd want. Unfortunately, right now it's just the TO and Whitten show. Those two guys account for almost 60% of Romo's passes to all players. Edited September 28, 2007 by yo mama

Menudo
Any given Sunday. NOt bad stats 5/150/2 in the middle of the 3rd QTR. I've got him in two leagues, but, didn't even consider starting him, so, I'm not going to whine about not using him. I'm glad to see him start to show something, because I think he can be a solid contributor moving forward.
Gros Membres!
Assering himself. To say the least.
tomfin2000
Of course I cut Crayton yesterday to pick up (and start) Mushin Muhammad. At least I can take some small amount of comfort in the fact that my hunch was right about Muhammad being more involved in the game plan with Griese at QB, particularly in the red zone, but it's still aggravating. Oh, well. Easy come, easy go.

STL Fan
whoever's covering him today is pretty bad There's the key. I dropped him last week and my only regret is I should have started him against the Rams and THEN dropped him.
