Honestly, I thought that it made for interesting discussion without the GOP tie-in. I was curious to see how other small business owners here handled requests for donations, because you bring up valid points regarding not wanting to bite the hand that feeds you, so to speak.

 

The topic itself had it's own validity. JSMHO.

I do quite a bit of charity work but we can afford it because of staff size and we usually make up for it in free advertising. We've gotten quite a few big accounts off of our support to fundraisers and other charitable events. I think blaming a certain party is just an easy way out.

well working a place that counts on charity you begin to see patters and since 2000 its been horrible... it was bad in the 80's also so you be the judge
