She actually writes her own music and she is only 17. I think she has one of the best Country music voices. Very impressive. My 13 year old daughter loves her and bought her CD. Her first hit "tears on my guitar" was a hit when she was 16 years old and I think she wrote that #1 song when she was 14 years old. She wrote or co-wrote every song on her CD.
