How different is your team from the one you drafted?

Been a bad year for injuries and under performers. So how much have you worked the waiver wire / trade circuit this year? In my 12 team league with 16 roster spots and 9 starters (1QB, 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 PK, 1 DF) I was surprised to find that only FIVE of my players I did not draft (six if you count the fact that I cut Drew Carter before the season to acquire Jason Campbell). Which is ESPECIALLY surprising as I have spent more money on transactions than any other owner :D I guess I have really been churning those five roster spots.

Of those 5 free agents on my team 3 were drafted and subsequently cut by their owners. The undrafted players that I own are Kurt Warner, Selvin Young and Jason Campbell.

How much have your roster have you turned over this year?

Original team:

Big Ben, Delhomme

Jacobs, Green, F Taylor

Ocho, S Smith, Evans, Hackett

McMichael, Scaife

Elam, Kasay

Pit, CIN

Now:

Big Ben, Grossman

Edge, Grant, P Holmes

Ocho, TO, Evans, Branch

Gonzo, E Johnson

J Brown, Mare

PIT, NO

I traded McMichael & Burelson in week 3 for Gonzo & Furrey

Traded S SMith & Taylor for J Lewis & TO

Traded Watson for Grant

Traded J Lewis, Scheffler, Elam, & AZ for Edge, E Johnson, J Brown, & NO

I picked up Ronnie Brown & Caddy off waivers during the year and then lost them to injury. I'm the highest scoring team in our 14 team league and am about to be 5-6.

I was thinking about this yesterday...this has been my worst year ever and I'll be glad when it's over

10 team redraft, 16 player rosters, 9 starters....

I currently have 6 players on my team that I drafted

This week, I started 2 guys that I drafted thinking they'd be my starters.

Original Team:

Romo, Schaub

Parker, Henry, Peterson, K. Jones, T. Bell

Fitzgerald, Driver, Galloway, Berrian

Watson, Daniels

Stover

Vikings DEF

Now:

Romo, Warner

Parker, Henry, Peterson, K. Jones, Davenport

Fitzgerald, Driver, Galloway, Hackett, Henry

Watson

Wilkins

Vikings DEF

I had 15 out of 16 of my original picks through Week Nine, then cleaned house after I had my worse game of the year. I'm 8-2 at the moment. I've got a 7 Point lead, my opponent has the Tennessee defense in a standard Yahoo scoring system, so it could go either way.

I wonder if anyone can beat this one. Not my team, but a compulsive trader in my league.

Traded Housh and Maroney for Addai before week 1. Later traded Addai, Kenton Keith, K. Curtis and Bobby Engram for Roy Williams and Reggie Bush. Incidentally, four of his eight trades have involved Williams and Bush. Some other players that have come and gone on his team include Westbrook, T.O., Marion Barber, Larry Johnson, Joey Galloway, and Jamal Lewis. The only players on his team today that he actually drafted are Vince Young and Chris Cooley. He also held on to Bowe, picked up before week 1.

In one of my locals, out of 14 players on my roster, I only have 3 of the original 14 that I drafted. Those 3 are: Santonio Holmes, Jerious Norwood, and Kellen Winslow. Everyone else has been either dropped or traded at some point in the season.

I know this may be hard to believe but their is a guy in one of my leagues ($100, 8 teamer) that has traded or dropped every player he drafted. His last drafted player was FWP who he traded away a couple of weeks ago. Ths guy has made over 130 moves (cost $1 per add/drop) so far and about 15 trades(also cost $1). He's had guys more than once via trades and waivers. He's doing fairly well as he moved to 7-4 and is in 2nd place as of the end of this week. His latest trade was today. He gave up Brees and Colston for P Manning and D Bowe.

He did the same thing last year and made it to the SB as the #1 ranked team and ended up losing in the SB. Only thing was the guy playing him was scared and ending up splitting the pot with him. This is a pretty much winner takes all league with the regular season winner and the SB runner up getting their money back, the winner of the SB gets the rest.
