Rockerbraves
Maybe TOS and Slayer can settle up their BCS NC bet live for all of us on Tuesday. For those of you who can't be there this weekend I thought you might enjoy a live webcam link from the balcony of Cats on Bourbon. Not much action this morning. Actually I've seen more red than purple. But we know that will soon be changing. Haven't made up my mind if I'll be going down to N.O. tonight. If so, look for a guy wearing a Atlanta Braves cap with a 3 or 4 sexy women around him. That will of course be Rockerbraves. http://www.earthcam.com/usa/louisiana/newo.../bourbonstreet/ "Fear the Hat" Edited January 5, 2008 by Rockerbraves

darin3
I'll meet you there for 2:30. My wife's family uses the word "for" instead of "at" in the time context, too. I don't get it. OK, it's 2:32. Hope I didn't miss ya. Edited January 6, 2008 by darin3

Rockerbraves
Took a trip down to New Orleans yesterday. Talk about a happening place. First thing we did was head over in the afternoon hours to Jackson Square for the LSU pep rally. Have to be honest, I was fairly disappointed since the crowd was rather large and for some reason the cheerleaders & band were at ground level so all we could do was hear it but couldn't see them. Did get myself an official BCS NC program. Big mistake to purchase it early as it weights alot more than most programs since it includes all of the LSU season highlights. Seriously, the highlight of the afternoon was getting our picture standing right next to the BCS NC crystal football. Pretty kool actually, especially since All State was providing these pictures free of charge. Did have to stand in line for about 20 minutes though, however our timing couldn't have been better since the pep rally started immediately after we had our pic taken. After the pep rally we ventured back to the car to dump off all our giveaways as well as to reload our 32 ounce mugs with our favorite beverage! On the way back to the parking garage we stumbled across the LSU team hotel totally by accident where our timing could not have been better. LSU had just begun to load up the team buses. Nice to see what these guys look like up-close without helmets and shoulder pads. It's absolutely amazing how small #8 Holliday kid is compared to some of the players. Gave #2 Bryd the "you can't see me" flash while he was video taping us. He reciprocating with a return flash of his own. We then headed out to the quarter for some adult entertainment. Bourbon street was jamming. Lots of red mixed in with the purple and gold. What impressed me the most is I did not see even one altercation among the fans of either school. Last night Buckeye fans were great and seemed to genuinely be enjoying themselves. They loved the smack talk and returned it as they should. Ended up at Pat O's for the bulk of the evening enjoying some hurricanes while meeting many buckeye fans. It was a riot to see how many of these new found yankee friends would call over a buddy and make me repeat the reasons why LSU is undefeated in regulation football. They all jokingly said they would now be rooting for triple OT. Overall an absolutely great time. New Orleans should be proud.
