polksalet
Aight, we bought this crib with some sort of super security system pre-installed. We live in a good neighborhood so I have not spent the money to get it turned on although I was considering doing it in a month or so anyway as the shoonce guy said the decrease in home shoonce would pay for the service. K, I am home with the girl today (runny nose, mild fever) and decided to cook some grub. Well it created a little smoke as it often does and the smoke alarm went off a couple times. I followed the same procedure as I have in the last couple of years and pressed the button on the screamer. Well it stopped the screaming but now it chirps once like 900 pound grasshopper every 40 seconds and pressing the same button does not make it stop. What do I do? Big Country
replace the battery For this to work, you need to replace the battery while wearing a wolf shirt.
Double Agent
The monitored system will knock a chunk off of your insurance, but it will not pay for it. Most companies only give a 15-20% discount. Just FYI.
rocknrobn26
no battery, wired in, but I think it is done chirping. If not, check closely for any particulate matter such as spider web, debris from smoking lunch, etc..
Chief Dick
Those smoke alarms usually have a battery backup. You know, in case you lose power.
twiley
Mine started doing that and we didn't have a contract anymore. I called the Security company and they walked me through a disabling process through the actual box. Mine is setup through brinks so if your system is the same I can check my box out at home and tell you which wires to disconnect. I remember saying, "So this is basically the way to disable any Brinks home security system?" and the guy nervously agreed.
