The Packers plan on retiring Brett Favre's No. 4 jersey during this season.

President and CEO Mark Murphy says he and Favre have already spoken about it. "We will make a decision after the schedule comes out," he said.

Not sure how you can call Rodgers a bottom feeder when there is so little history so far. He showed some moxy against DAL in DAL this year after favre dug GB a hole & then got hurt. He's been brought along slowly & has had time to study the game & get good reps in preseason & practice - a rarity in today's NFL.

While and no one else in their right mind expects Rodgers to make everyone forget Favre, he's got the earmarks of being a good QB.

He was great in that game

So because he was great in his only real action, he's bottom feeder?

I was genuinely complimenting him

Aaron "I can't take more than 3 snaps before I am on the DL" Rogers? Someone would bet on him?

:D

Those were fluke injuries. It is a concern, but I think he'll be OK.

Would you bet on Tavaris Jackson?

 some players seem to have an up close, personal relationship with "fluke injuries". Aaron Rogers seems to have "Fluke" in his fave 5.

I'll take 16 games over 6 7 times a week and twice on Sunday :D

That's true, but with the WR talent they have VS Minnesota I'll put up $100 if Hugh is willing. I'll take my chances.

Aaron Rodgers Many of us are pretty hopeful for this season. He can run the 5WR set well in my opinion.

 Collinsworth eats crow by the end of that clip. Love it.

Draft Jennings this year folks. If Rodgers stays in the game all year, Jennings is going to catch a lot of balls. Those two have it goin on.

How about a sigline bet. Loser wears a sig for the 1st month of the following season.

Do we have a bet? I thought one of the Vikings fans would back up their "Donovan McNabb" disiciple QB, but may have been wrong. Hugh you want in?

What does "outperform" mean? Wins/QB rating/Yards/TD-INT's?

I'm in either way.

Outperform? Maybe Hugh was talking in the bedroom with his wife.

If on the football field i would go TD's or wins.

:D I just want clarification so they can't try and weasel there way out.

They probably saw that video of Rodgers and came to their senses.

After all these years praying for Favre to retire :D they realized ARod could be even better with the 5 WR set. :brew:

I think there is a few ways this can be done. I would rather go by wins and losses, but passer rating might be the better way to go here as it takes all stats together with some formula and it would take away the team aspect.

Wins and losses

Yards / TD's / interceptions.

Passer Rating
