whomper
A somehwhat obscure one that will be tremendously difficult to beat is back to back no hitters . You would have to throw 3 no hitters in a row to top it. Johnny Vander Meer of the Cincinnati Reds Edited August 16, 2008 by whomper

Pope Flick
512 career pitching victories. No one will ever see 80% of that.
Ursa Majoris
2 Grand slams in an inning. Raul Ibanez came up twice in the same inning with the bases loaded against the Twins only a couple weeks ago. He got the GS first time then 2 RBIs second time. That record will certainly be equalled at some point. The limitations of the game make it pretty certain not to be broken. I agree about Ripken and I also cannot see Ricky Henderson's steals record of 1,406 being broken - that's 100 steals a year for 14 years.
