all this phelpsness had me thinkin......what are the limits of the human body? what records will stand? whats the fastest a human can swim, run, bike, throw, etc. assuming drug free. when will records be unbreakable?

 

or maybe even drug enhanced......

A somehwhat obscure one that will be tremendously difficult to beat is back to back no hitters . You would have to throw 3 no hitters in a row to top it.

2 Grand slams in an inning.

Raul Ibanez came up twice in the same inning with the bases loaded against the Twins only a couple weeks ago. He got the GS first time then 2 RBIs second time. That record will certainly be equalled at some point. The limitations of the game make it pretty certain not to be broken.

 

I agree about Ripken and I also cannot see Ricky Henderson's steals record of 1,406 being broken - that's 100 steals a year for 14 years.
