theeohiostate
Rotoworld The Nashville Tennessean reports Vince Young on Monday "indicated to those around him he didn't want to play football any more." The Titans may be planning to move on without him. This isn't the first time we've heard this from Young. And "there are indications" the team is ready to move forward with Kerry Collins, even when Young gets healthy. And that assumes Young even wants his job back. Young's mother, rightly concerned, pleaded for people to give her son "space" and "love." But it won't be so simple. A psychologist reported Young was "extremely depressed" and one wonders when he'll see the field again. This young man has some disturbing issues it appears

MikesVikes
Wow. I can't imagine what it would be like if he were playing in New York or on the East Coast. Edited September 10, 2008 by MikesVikes
Menstrualgravy
I allways thought he was overrated. He is probably smart to get out before he gets hurt.
muck
IIRC, ownership wanted him and Fisher did not. FWIW.
The Wolf
Wow. I can't imagine what it would be like if he were playing in New York or on the East Coast. Oh man....he'd have disappeared long before this. The media pressure in the big city is enough to capsize anyone, especially if they have some "issues." Randall
He'll be back in five years to clear his name... after he gets high with Benson. Fixed
Randall
Make him a WR. He'd be good at RAC yards.
femmefootball
is it wrong to hope they go with Collins? I picked him up as a backup in my 2QB league when Brady fell (someone stole my Cassel!)... I was hoping for a few weeks with him, through my first QB's bye week, but hey, the rest of the season? That'd be a lot nicer...
Big Score 1
He is probably smart to get out before he gets hurt. Too late for that.
Big Score 1
NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Titans will sign QB Chris Simms. His signing is pending a physical. The Titans also visited with Joey Harrington, Doug Johnson, and Quinn Gray before luring Simms away from a Kansas City visit Tuesday. Simms fills a crucial need as a backup to Kerry Collins with Vince Young's physical -- and possibly mental -- health in question.
