Brewer
I guess 96% of blacks voting for Obama isn't because of his race? But obviously no one is going to openly come out and say that either. blacks have a long history of voting for white men.
kpholmes
Not trying to be racist myself, or stir things up or anything like that. Simply saying that I don't think preliminary polls can take into account the full effects of racism in our country, that's all.

He must have your backup - you know, the Serbian Info Systems Analyst. He's not doing him any good on the bench. Sorry.... couldn't resist. AtomicCEO
Agreed.Honestly I also think racism will play a larger role in the election than people think. Obviously no one is going to openly come out and say "I voted McCain because I'm racist"... but no one has to know when you vote all alone in a booth. I think that this is what McCain voters hope will happen, but that it won't.
TimC
CBS just gave Pennsylvania to Obama. That should pretty much seal it. McCain would have to win FL, OH, VA, NC, etc, etc, etc. Edited November 5, 2008 by TimC
Riffraff
ABC has it 102-49 for Obama as a few states roll in for McCain.

Riffraff
Early 2nd set of states rolling in. ABC has it 174-76 for Obama with the biggest state (Texas) and it's 34 EV still pending. About 8 other states with less votes. And +4 senate seats switching to Democrats. Edited November 5, 2008 by Riffraff

Riffraff
After Ohio, 195-90 for Obama per ABC. McCain pretty much has to get Texas (34) and California (55), if either goes to Obama the game is basically over. Not sure Florida's 27 will matter.
