sometimes you just need to jump in feet first....you will love it and for the price you cant beat it

i did a quick search and didnt find any bad reviews....just make sure you get the 1080P version and not the 720P version that some are selling

edit: it is an entry level HD tv so an audiophile like say KidCid may not like it but you drink busch and are happy about it...i say you will love it once it is up...now all you need will be a camera lens to take a pic of the setup with

That's videophile when talking about TVs!

CD, just buy the damn thing already! Analysis paralysis is a horrible thing to watch!

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with that TV and you will love it other than you will want it to be bigger at some point.

And The CD Of The House Declared:

IT SHALL BE DONE!!!

Ok, what do I do now?

1. Order cables online.

2. Get high def cable box tomorrow.

3. Cream in my pants?

www.monoprice.com

if your TV and HD box have HDMI (they both should) then you want an HDMI cable

How far will the box be from the TV(hdmi plug on tv to hd box)?

Tell me that and I will link you to the HDMI cable you need.

oh and congrats and enjoy...you will wonder how you lived without HD this long.

HDMI for sure.

Distance will be less than 6 feet, so probably a 6 footer.

Do you have a geek shop in town? You know, that place that always has that obscure cable or computer device that can't be found anywhere else? If you do check them out. We have one in Tucson called SWS Electronics and they match or beat Monoprice on any cable.....

LCDs may outlive plasmas on average...but the lifespan on a plasma is like 15 years. No one keeps them that long.

I see, i thought it was shorter, way shorter, have 2- 40 in Samsung LCD's here, woulda liked the plasmas, the picture seemed clearer, but I was vetoed...

oh, we bought thru cdnet.com, cheaper, no sales tax
