xlence
Friday: Rain likely before 1pm, then snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Windy, with a north northwest wind between 28 and 36 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Looks like it will be nasty for us in SW Oklahoma
Square
I've been worried all week of the weather because I move this weekend in Omaha. Luckily it seems like the snow isn't going to come this far North. I don't mind cold but I really don't want to move in the middle of rain / snow. Hopefully my luck holds up. rajncajn
Tornadoes in Ms, luckily no fatalities so far but a lot of damage. (CNN) -- Two tornadoes touched down in Mississippi before dawn Thursday, damaging at least 60 homes, emergency officials said. A tornado struck outside Jackson at about 4 a.m. local time, said Katherine Gunby, spokeswoman for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. Another tornado touched down in Lauderdale County, damaging nine homes and businesses, CNN affiliate WAPT reported. Two people were airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. No fatalities were reported. Gunby said there are trees and power lines down throughout the state, with Simpson County being the hardest-hit. The tornado destroyed a Baptist church, leaving only its doors standing. The Mississippi Department of Transportation and utility companies are working to restore power to the state, Gunby said Edited March 26, 2009 by rajncajn

darin3
Be a shame if another kickball game got rained out. Damn right, I haven't played in a month. Was out of town, then got rained out, then it was SXSW. It's weird though, because of the Hill Country to our west, we're often shielded from the real nasty weather. We had a couple storms roll through last night, but apparently the storms gained more steam as they developed east and north of us. I love a good thunderstorm, and to be perfectly honest, part of me agreeing to move here was due to the enjoyment of some different weather patterns. Choppy
Predictions are for up to 6 inches here with 25 to 35 mph winds. Stuff will probably all end up in the ditches and tree rows and not provide a bit of much needed moisture. I wish it would just rain.
