I set a lot of things up for this yesterday. I did get the curve. I hooked my home email up to it. I loaded that disk to my home comp as back up. I also tried to familiarize myself with it yesterday. I am not a gadget guy by any means . A few questions for those of you that have one

Do you use the leather case it came with ?

Do you lock the keyboard ? If so how do you unlock ? (I know the answer is in the user manual. I read it yesterday but I am at work now)

Is there a section for favorites as far as web sites you visit ?

Can it be set to vibrate when you get a text ?

Is there a way to delete all messages in one shot or do you have to do it individually ?

Also , Are you able to set up more than 1 email account ? I set my home email up which is aol  I also wanted to set up my work email on this. Is that possible ?

Do you use the leather case it came with ? Your call, but there are other more asthetically-pleasing options at your verizon store. The rubber one is great, acts as a shock absorber in case you drop it

Do you lock the keyboard ? If so how do you unlock ? (I know the answer is in the user manual. I read it yesterday but I am at work now) Yes, I do, since any inadvertant key touch can perform a function. After you lock it, unlocking is easy. Your screen will tell you exactly how if you try to do something while its locked.

Is there a section for favorites as far as web sites you visit ? Yes: once in your browser, hit your menu button (the one with all the dots) and toggle down to "add bookmarks"

Can it be set to vibrate when you get a text ? yes: options for rings are under your "profiles"...best advice is to create your ow "whomper" profile.

Is there a way to delete all messages in one shot or do you have to do it individually ? Yes: In your email, highlight the date, hit your menu button, slecte "delete prior", then choose "delete all"

Also , Are you able to set up more than 1 email account ? I set my home email up which is aol  I also wanted to set up my work email on this. Is that possible ? Yes, you can create up to 6 accounts, I beleive.

I think the Cowboys are going to get their asses handed to them when they play the Eagles. But hey, I'm just an uninterested third party.

Way to ruin the surprise for Swammi there handsome.

Now that whomper has a Blackberry, how about the loser of the Cowboys/Eagles game sends a pic-message of them in their team's cheerleader outfit? :D

That wouldn't be fair. Swammi already has a pic of himself in a birds cheerleader outfit.

i have the blackberry curve from verizon. i bought this cover for $20 in the verizon store.

i know you can do keyboard lock from the menu, but i like to hold down the "mute" button for a couple seconds (it's along the top edge of the phone, on the left). pressing "mute" again will unlock it (i think it's actually "standby" mode, but i find it easier than using the lock icon).

Using this makes me dizzy. Is that something I will get used to ?

I wonder? I played around with the one my boy got the other day and it just makes me crazy. How the hell do you get rid of an app that you download and don't want? Dizzy is a pretty good description of what it makes me.
