CaptainHook
ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley's office says he has settled a wager with his Indiana counterpart over last weekend's football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts. Part of the wager called for the losing governor to put the opponent's flag on his vehicle, and a pennant with a Colts logo could be seen attached to O'Malley's vehicle next to the statehouse Wednesday. But wait a minute! What's that in the fine print on the banner? O'Malley has attached an old Baltimore Colts pennant on his vehicle rather than an Indianapolis Colts flag. Many Maryland residents are still irked about the Colts departure from Maryland in 1984. O'Malley already has sent crab cakes and Smith Island cake to Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels. from indystar.com
Seahawks21
That isn't nearly as bad as the guy from Carolina four years ago. He gave the crab cakes and made a weak attempt. What else can you expect from a politician?

Illiterate welcher
cdrudge
That's pathetic, especially after calling out our Governor for being "ascared" to take the bet. Illiterate welcher This kind of reminds me of someone a few years ago that started a sig bet, then whined when they had to pay up that it was too personal. Rovers
Pretty weak. However, it is more correct to call it welching, as opposed to welshing, which is a slur on the Welsh people.

Can the Welsh not figure out where the word welch came from? and did the Welsh settle in Maryland? Big John
Pretty weak. However, it is more correct to call it welching, as opposed to welshing, which is a slur on the Welsh people. Welshing was a slur brought on by the English saying people from Wales were not good for their word.
Rovers
Welshing was a slur brought on by the English saying people from Wales were not good for their word. True, which was my point. The limey's are pretty good at slur desigations. They'll do anything to make the people they have subjugated look bad.
