westvirginia
Boy needs to practice more... The boy, 15, and his sister, 12, were alone about 2:30 p.m. when they heard glass breaking downstairs at the home in the 2600 block of Royal Place Court in northwest Harris County. The boy went downstairs with the rifle and spotted the two burglars in the living room. He fired several shots and struck one of the intruders, said Lt. Jeff Stauber with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "He was concerned with protecting his younger sister — that's exactly what he did,“ Stauber said. driveby
This happened in the subdivision directly in front of my wife's school. Apparently both the victims were/are students at her school as well as at least one of the burglars.

Perchoutofwater
My 12 year old daughter wouldn't have missed. My eight year old would have probably hit both of them once with a three shot magazine.
Kid Cid
His accuracy aside, the kid stood up and did the right thing.

Nope, but we all do spend quite a bit of time at the range. The girls are very good for their ages, and the older one is good regardless of age. DMD
u should know that range and real life are way different. Even in Texas, they make it illegal to shoot people until they have done something (or look like, yep, he's gonna do it). Thing about a good East Texas girl is that she can shoot and fish and yet can do the shopping and prom thing with the best of them.
