BS Miscreant
Andre and Megatron are clearly studs and you should always start your studs. Right? Now hold on a minute there... both of these guys have struggled at times, as does pretty much everyone, but most of the time they are money in the bank. Problem is, those times they have struggled this season have been against Ds that are quite similar to what each face this weekend. Helluva time for your stud WR to have a shaky match-up, huh? What I'm wondering is... Do you start them anyway? or Do you have what you see as better options this week? What are they? I really enjoy the "stud vs match-up" discussions and it seems this is a prime week for one. Am I missing any other potential stud benchings this week? keggerz
The Eagles pass D is not the same without Samuel and he is questionable at best for this week so even if he plays he won't be what he normally is.

Ah, forgot he was dinged up. So you're saying Andre is a full go then... no reservations.
Bier Meister
rice vs pit mendy vs bal
Tripleshot
rice vs pitmendy vs bal I don't feel that teh Ravens rush D is what is used to be, so I wouldn't sweat having to play Mendy vs them much. I'd be more worried for Rice vs the Steelers, but he'll likely make up for less rushing yards with his receiving.
polksalet
Studs are studs because they produce against bad teams as well as good.
MTSuper7
With Drew Stanton chucking the rock for Detroit, I'd look for alternatives to Megatron if I had any. It could get ugly.
Jimmy_22
I have both AJ and Megatron and was wondering the same thing. I'm putting AJ in the lineup tonight - thinking Philly may score early and often, which should get me some junk points in passing situations. Megatron is a different story. If Hill was in, no question, but Stanton scares me. Might look at Ivory or even Gerhart if AP doesn't go.
giantsfan
This will be fun. I am of the belief that Megatron will be good regardless. Some/many/most think he will not be with Stanton at QB. I point to: 1. He caught an 87 yard TD from Stanton against the Giants when he played earlier this season. 2. A few years bad Calvin had 1300 + and 12 TD's (whole team threw 18 TD's) on an AWFUL Lions team, with scrubs at best on the same level as Stanton at QB. 3. The Lions will throw 40 + times PERIOD. 4. He had 75 and a TD against Chicago week 1 (I count that last play). SO this should be interesting. Am I saying he is the # 1 fantasy WR with Stanton? No, I can't say that. Am I saying he is still a top level WR (think top 5/6 or so)...yes. The guy will get his TD's I feel confident of that, he always has regardless of QB. And I say they have a nice schedule also. Domes or FLA the remainder of the year. We shall see how this plays out. Interesting to me.
Bronco Billy
I try to avoid Johnsons that I don't own, but if that's your thing - go for it. NTTAWWTT

Plus Stafford was throwing that day. If the Bears can control Vick and Jackson when they were both "hot" I think they can handle Stanton. I say 4/48/0 for Megatron. I did NOT SAY the NFL counts it. When I am looking at how he did that day I include it. NOT the NFL. And HILL took over by that point in the game. Stafford did not throw that pass week 1. And last I checked the Bears DID NOT control Vick. He threw for over 300 yards and had 2 TD's. AND where did I say he was a stud THIS WEEK. Would I bank on a huge game against Chic, NO. Overall do I still think he is a top level WR going forward? YES. Again we shall see. I could be wrong no doubt. We shall see. In that then you are correct, and yes it was Hill, which is better than Stanton. No doubt he is a stud but if I had alternatives I would sit him this week. I said controlled Vick & Jackson meaning the combo.
SatchDork
You start Johnson & Johnson each and every week that they are not lined up against Darrelle Revis. End of story.

giantsfan
Another game another TD for Calvin. 66 yards and a TD against a VERY good Chicago D bodes well I think the next few weeks when they get GB, at TB, and at Miami. And Stanton did okay today as well. Like I said, Calvin will get his TD's. He always does.
