The line is out and the Steelers are favored by three. So, what is your prediction ?

Jets 20

Steelers 17

The Jets were knocking Brady to the ground early and often. The Patriots have a much better offensive line than the Steelers. I hope I'm wrong, but, I've got a feeling that it's the Jets year in the AFC.

What is this, some sort of reverse psychology thing? I suggest you sleep on it a few days and you will see the light.

Definitely lots to consider in this game. Would the NFL rather see a serial accused rapist, or a kinky online amateur pornographer represent the AFC in the Superbowl? Probably they would want to squash the most recent story and play up the reformed engaged Big Ben storyline. I think I'm going with the Steelers to reap the rewards of a few "questionable" calls enroute to their eventual beat-down in the Superbowl at the hands of the Packers.

After today, there is no way to underestimate the Jets.

However, this will be the first team they'll face that can and will stop the run. That creates a dynamic not faced yet, and the best set of 11 on defense playing at home. I think we're staring at a Pitt/GB Super Bowl.

Forget about the offense..... Both of these teams are defensive powerhouses

The Steeler have the better Defence so they are going to take it down... Hate to agree with the line but 3 points sounds about right but if I"m bettin the parley I'm still taking the Steelers

Now don't misunderstand me.... I'm not rooting for the Steelers but I think they r going to win....

I see your ante and call.... Steelers 23-20.

The Steelers will be playing in their 5th AFC Championship game in the last 10 years (4 at Home), and 8th in the last 17 years (7 at Home). Rooting for them is the polar opposite of rooting for the Pirates.

The Steelers, Colts or Patriots have been in the last 8 AFC Championship games, with 3 head to head match-ups.

The Steelers, Colts or Patriots have been in 8 of the last 9 AFC Championship games, with 4 head to head match-ups.

If the Steelers had lost to the Patriots, it would have been brutal to take. They have owned the Steelers, and out of envy, it would have been very tough to swallow.

If the Steelers lose to the Jets, it will sting, as losing AFC Championship games are tough to take, because you are so close to the fun of watching your team in a Super Bowl (Trust me, I've seen the Steelers lose quite a few). However, it won't sting nearly as bad as it would against the Patriots. I just don't have any reason to dislike or envy the Jets, which could change after Sunday.

The Jets will have now played in 2 consecutive AFC Championship games

Id like to see Mike Tomlin after whipping their ass, Knock out Rex Ryan and shut him up for good. And I hate Pitt, not that you can tell today after defending Big Ben, and picking them to win next week.

My ultimate scenerio remaining is to see Chicago beat Pitt in the SB. Though I am not holding my breath on this one...

Over the past two years, the Jets are 4-1 in playoff games, all on the road. Jets beat PIT a few weeks ago at their home. Second trip to the AFC Championship game in two years. Hating them won't make them lose. It will just eat you from the inside out. That is what hatred does.

The Jets will come to play, and it should be a good game.

No one hates the Jets. And something tells me this time will be much different. NE punked the Jets 45-3 the last time, and that didnt help them a lick this time. the last Pitt game isnt going to help NYJ this time either.

Its been a good year for NY. I am just getting sick and tired of seeing this fat ass run his mouth every week. Its time for him to be shut up and the countdown has already started to next week in Pitt.....

Whew...

And give me the Steelers. Both have stout defenses, but I think Roethlisberger can deal with it a little better than a very young Sanchez. Either way I think it will come down to the last drive of the game.

And good lord, Braylon has turned it on the past few weeks.

I have to go with the Steelers..24-17

First reason:

What is Rex Ryan going talk about all week? He will end up with his Foot in his mouth..

Odds are we will not see another Kickoff return on the first Play and a safety..

Heath Miller and Troy Polamalu will also play in this one..

If the jets play close to how they played tonight, the old Pitt team is gonna get spanked hard. Yes, pitt is old.

Sorry hater...not gonna happen. Pitt could(won't) lose this game, but getting spanked hard...not gonna happen. Seriously, it must really suck for you as a fan to troll threads where people discuss Super Bowl winning teams. I just hope someday before yoour team moves to Mexico City that you taste at least one championship.
