moneymakers
SANYA, China (AP) -- The leaders of the world's largest emerging economies gather this week in southern China for what could be a watershed moment in their quest for a bigger say in the global financial architecture. Thursday's summit comes at a crucial moment for the expanded five-member bloc known as the BRICS, which groups Brazil, Russia, India, China, and, for the first time, South Africa. Chinese President Hu Jintao, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and South African President Jacob Zuma will attend. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Emerging-eco...ml?x=0&.v=5 Looks like Obama is not invited
Ursa Majoris
Looks like Obama is not invited I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that might be because he isn't the president of Brazil, Russia, India, China or South Africa. Only a guess, mind you.

No, seriously, he has a golf game in Kennebunkport... Oh, sorry, he has to speak at a Nobel meeting in the Hague on curtailing cruise missile strikes against sovereign nations... Wait, wait, he's taking the kids for a swim in the Gulf... Hold on, hold on, this just in, he is reading a book to school children in an Urban Detroit School... Wait, nevermind, it appears that he is so loved and revered by South American leftitst leaders that he is heading up a convention on nationalizing private companies in Venezuela... MikesVikes
They didn't want to call it UBRICS. Maybe they should add Spain, Hungary, Italy, and Turkey to their BRICS talks.
