WaterMan
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=nfp-...cility_collapse The fallout from the collapse of the Dallas Cowboys practice structure more than two years ago continues. Jancy Briles, a member of the team’s public relations staff, has filed suit against companies involved with the structure. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Briles filed suit April 29 against Summit Structures LLC and Cover-All Building Systems for “serious, disabling and permanent injuries” suffered in the May 2, 2009 collapse of the structure during a storm. Cowboys scout Rich Behm was paralyzed below the waist in the accident. Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis suffered serious neck injuries. Bronco Billy
I didn't know it was Jerry Jones/Dallas Cowboys d.b.a. Summit Structures LLC and Cover-All Building Systems. Learn something new everyday. I see that we don't understand the construction litigation process, where liability can be determined exclusively by the depth of your pockets. General Itals
Trust me, I know about deep pockets, but the article says nothing about Jones being sued, just the builder. I know that Jones has already sued the builder. Summit Structures is out of business and Cover-all is bankrupt. Brehn and DeCamillas have received insurance settlements. None of that money came from Jones. Didn't see the correlation, at this time, between the construction company being sued and Jerry Jones needing to pay damages to Briles like waterboy insinuated in his thread title. Dutch Oven
The other thing to understand is that an insurance company would pay any judgment, not the individual.
Bronco Billy
The other thing to understand is that an insurance company would pay any judgment, not the individual. And then jack up the premiums. That's how they "encourage" settlements

MikesVikes
And then jack up the premiums. That's how they "encourage" settlements I think Jerry Jones has already jacked up his ticket prices to offset the higher insurance costs.
