delusions of grandeur
Okay, 5 weeks in and it's time to go from patience to a reality check of players you'll never get burned by again. Mine are: Jermichael Finley - highlights my user name, as I get burned for the 3rd year in a row trying to predict a breakout from the Roy Williams of TEs. Joe Flacco - the only thing elite about him is his handle-bar mustache. Not only does he get single-digit points for me as a bye-week replacement, but he's directly responsible for Ray Rice's consistency suffering. I didn't see the game yesterday, but I assume he spent it overthrowing Torry Smith all day. Greg Little, Jon Baldwin - wasn't expecting much from either, but what a waste of great measurables Who you got?
Tripleshot
I got burned by Finley last year. He scores all his points in 2-3 big games and stinks the rest of them. I went with the likes of Fred Davis(finally coming around) and Gonzo this year.
rajncajn
Easily Chris Johnson. I'd hesitate on Bradshaw as well unless he really dropped. Just can't deal with the inconsistency.

You will be very happy that you did.
LbNiners
does Graham count? his production has declined every single gm since gm 1 now.
zekez
Finley for me as well, I drank the cool-aid (but fortunately have Rudolph as well). Also, Doug Martin - was supposed to be great this year, has been mediocre at best.
White lightning
In Antonio I Hates. I bought in to the whole "I've never felt better BS." My Gates pick was particularly impressive coming off my Dallas Clark pick in 2011.
rajncajn
does Graham count? his production has declined every single gm since gm 1 now. Ankle sprain this week held him out for a lot of the game. He had a walking boot on after the game. Luckily they have a bye this week because they need him badly.

Tripleshot
Dead to me implies I've given up completely on them. There are very few of those, and if I still had one on my roster I'd trade them cheaply or drop them. In most cases, I simply refused to draft them(McFadden is one of those types, though more because of durability issues than non-performance). There's an awful lot of the season left. Look what Spiller and Antonio Brown did the last half of last year after not contributing much the first half. There are going to be guys that started slowly this year that turn out to be solid fantasy starters yet this season. The hang up is that we tend to not believe in a player who starts slowly and believe too long in a player who started hot and then fades. stevegrab
Law Firm - wasn't going to be a stud I know, but has fallen off lately. A solid game against a good D (BAL) in week 1, then declining numbers since them. Won't cut him because there are no better options, and might still roll with him next week against CLE, but will be sending him to the bench later and probably just roll with Tate every week when he gets back. acbvegas
Graham. I have rudolph and hernandez ready to trade him for a stud WR
Phat Rugby
Sprioles is getting there. It seems NO will use him some weeks and is a wallflower on others. Was hoping for so much more.
flemingd
I wanna say Chris Johnson, because he is totally dead to me. But I will draft him again next year.

I was thinking the same thing but then looked at the numbers. I mean, I benched him this week because I noticed Miami is the worst in the league to start a RB against and they certainly didn't disappoint. But I didn't have really high hopes and have been getting almost 9 pts a week out of him. For me, it's Jordy Nelson. Though "dead to me" is a bit harsh. He's not my only whiff, but he's the only guy I kept targeting in multiple leagues that's now destined for the bench until I see more out of him. Well, Jaquizz Rodgers is dead to me, but what the hell. For all the hype around him, I was still able to get him late enough in every draft I took him where you don't expect jack anyway. Drafted him in 3 leagues and waived him in the last of those 3 this past week.
Croe
D WILL, not a stud, never though he might be, but com'on, he is the epitome of inconsistant .4 points with the backfield to himself, 12.9 when I don't start him, 7.3 when I do, 11.1 when I don't, then -1.4 thank god stopped starting him - hes a bench warmer unless I can package him in a deal. nelsosi
Finley like many last year gave up on him was on my DND list. This. Firmly on my DND list this year. Learned my lesson last year.
Nostack
The DND list: Jacksonville Jaguars- all of em Arizona Cardinals - all of them( Keep telling yourself Fitz is gonna come around) St.Louis Rams- all of them ( The whole team is a groin injury waiting to happen) Detroit Lions- All of them ( See avatar...) N.Y. Jets - All of them ( I hope Tebow doesn't see this) New Orleans Saints - Any WR (Better chances at guessing when it will snow in San Diego) Andre Johnson - ( Mr. Inconsistency thanks to injuries ) Antonio Gates - (See above) Chris Johnson - (He got paid) Jermichal Finley - ( Shades of Roy "alligator arms" Williams) Tony Romo- ( It's just slip being slip) Frank Gore - (Alex Smith...) I scratch these players off my list every year before every draft. Seems to be working out well enough.
detlef
The DND list: Frank Gore - (Alex Smith...) I scratch these players off my list every year before every draft. Seems to be working out well enough. 19th RB off the board in MFL drafts, currently ranked 8th. And he was nice last year as well. Just sayin' I agree with most of the rest though. Lippy225
I kept Finley on my bench 2 years ago while injured because he was an eligible keeper and I was anticipating his "break through" season last year. Killed me just like many others in this posting. He gives you that little glimmer of hope, and just lets you down. I had a post last year titled "Finley is killing me" or something like that. It was popular among Finley owners. I hope Jordy Nelson doesn't do the same to me this year...but he's well on his way. It seems such a no brainer to draft packers with the all mighty Rodgers. I think all Packers O is dead to me after this year.
Brentastic
Totally agree with Finley. Luckily, I only have him in 1/7 leagues and I was pissed the moment I drafted him. Good call on the Roy Williams of TEs
