Rileyrott
I just heard on NFL Network that Aaron Hernandez did not make the trip to London with the Pats. Roto reports the same.
DMD
Surprising since he did not seem to suffer any setback but at least we can know this early because of the plane trip.
KOKIDKOKID
That is huge news...just took it for granted he'd practice today like he did last week and be good to go Sunday. At least now we all have some time to plan accordingly. Thanks for the heads up folks. KO'd

Trots
It may be due to his child's birth and not injury related. He may still make the trip.
Rileyrott
It may be due to his child's birth and not injury related. He may still make the trip. Where did this info come from? Here's the latest from Roto: The Patriots have formally ruled Aaron Hernandez (ankle) out for Week 8. Rather than creating a faux-injury drama — as is their style — the Pats have admitted Hernandez remained stateside when they made their trip across the pond. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Hernandez's ankle didn't respond to treatment this week, though it's unclear if he's suffered an official setback. Perhaps the Pats didn't like the way he looked playing hurt the past two weeks. As it is, Hernandez now has Weeks 8 and 9 to rest up, and should be ready to roll as a TE1 when New England comes off its bye. 10/26/2012 1:26:00 PM Source: Mike Reiss on Twitter Edited October 26, 2012 by Rileyrott

Trots
There doesn't seem to be reliable info out yet as ESPN is reporting that he may have reaggravated his ankle.

Patriots
He was having trouble making cuts. Taking this week and the bye week to let it heal. Per Adam Schefter on twitter.
stevegrab
Curious, once the team "officially rule him out" can he still play?
