tazinib1
I joined aye 12 team keeper league this year for manures and giggles. I had a decent core to start with though nothing special. Since the season has started, these guys are dropping studs like crazy. I have picked up the following: J.Charles--placed on IR A.Foster--placed on IR M.Stafford--my b/u behind Rogers A.Jeffrey--starting J.Nelson--placed on IR I'm hoping these same dolts drop Forte and Bell Since this league doesn't charge draft picks for keepers and their are 5 IR spots, I'm not understanding the logic in the drops. What am I missing

Inziladun
Wow, that's funny. I'd be surprised if Foster came back next year though.
timeconsumer
How many keepers does your league allow?
awesomebench
I think you could drop foster...dont think there is much future value there.
tazinib1
5 since players are allowed to be traded for draft picks, if anything I will have good trade bait next year

stevegrab
5 keepers, 5 IR slots and these bozos are dropping studs on IR? In our keeper league I'm always watching for guys like that, or people like Cruz who was dropped a while ago or others that may be out or suspended for the season. We don't have IR spots, but we have a deep bench and when we get to the last few weeks that is a great time (especially if you're out of the money) to stash some guys that could have value next season. tazinib1
It's a small entry fee of $30 but I'm gonna make a serious push next year via draft pick trading. This is not an advice post but I'll go ahead and list my keepers for next year w/o those I picked up Rogers Hill Dez Hopkins Gronk BTW: Cruz is there but I have passed each week Edited November 2, 2015 by tazinib1
satelliteoflovegm
We have a rule where the player must be on your roster when placed on NFL IR to go on league IR. You can sign an IR guy if the original team didn't IR him but he'd need to go on your active roster. Seems like they drop them even before it's official and you snap them up. Good for you. Zooty
5 since players are allowed to be traded for draft picks, if anything I will have good trade bait next year better check that you can keep guys drafted early. Some leagues don't allow keepers from the early rounds
tazinib1
No restrictions on keepers

Cdoane83
I personally wouldn't use a keeper on Foster you should be able to draft him in the 7th or later round.
tazinib1
I'm not going to. He'll be on my roster until we dump players back inti the pool. I can get a pick for him guaranteed. Even if it's a late pick upgrade. Somebody will bite on his name..they always do
