League_Champion
Kyler Murray #1 overall? Sorry, I just don't see it. He folded like a cheap suit against a pro defense in Alabama. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001020300/article/kyler-murray-believed-almost-universally-to-be-top-pick Edited March 2, 2019 by League_Champion
loaf
Bosa will be #1. Didn't the Cards draft a QB in the 1st round last year? They the new Browns if they make this pick?

League_Champion
I think Haskins should be the top QB taken. I could see the Giants trading up to assure they get him.
League_Champion
Is this not a John Elway pick all day? Buffalo's Tyree Jackson is an athletic marvel, measuring 6-foot-7 and 249 pounds with big 10 1/4-inch hands, and he started the day with an impressive 4.59-second 40. But he struggled with his consistency throwing the ball, at one point earning a talking-to from NFL Network's Steve Smith for throwing too hard in the receiving drills. But he gets an A-plus for attitude, making all his throws with a smile on his face.

forever in debt to mo lewis
also should be noted...that everyones darling from the weekend...dk metcalf...actually ran a slower 3 cone drill and 20 yard shuttle than tom brady did.....so this guy looks like an all world athlete until you ask him to change direction

It's been a pretty ehhh combine. Nobody really jumps out like Saquon did last year but not many do. A lot of mutts on the offensive side this year

His NFL team will surely put him in a workout program that emphasizes flexibility over bulk. More yoga, less power lifting. He can still be a dominant long ball specialist with no change of direction abilities. It'll hurt his reception totals, though.

purplemonster
Seems like to me this draft is on the weaker side. At least for top end talent

I read one story that said he may thrive in an office like Josh Gordon did, and mentioned a stat that 60% of Gordon's routes were of a certain kind not requiring many cuts (slant, post, etc.)
League_Champion
Kyler Murray the worst combine rating ever? He can't possibly be the worst "(WeMurray) better hope (Kliff) Kingsbury takes him No. 1 because this was not good. These were the worst comments I ever got on a high-rated quarterback and I've been doing this a long time. ... Leadership — not good. Study habits — not good. The board work — below not good. Not good at all in any of those areas, raising major concerns about what this guy is going to do." You are probably right from a defensive standpoint. I don't play in an IDP league but I'd probably like it because I do like defense. I know the Alabama D-lineman and Bosa are pretty exciting but that's about all I know. As a side note, interesting how Watt and Long and Bosa all seem to have these family genes that are working for them. Must have some unique muscle fiber, explosiveness genes that run in the family

Metcalf is a physical beast. A 4.33 (40) is SICK at his size. He's not going to make the HOF running "hitch" routes. He's a vertical threat who will dominate physically. He ran his 3-cone drills and 20-yard shuttle after his 40 and long/vertical jumps and it skewed his results. MANY other WR's didn't even do these drills that day because of this. He also benched 27 reps. A man among boys in this combine. Of course.....JMHO
League_Champion
Metcalf at 1? No way! It's too good of a defensive draft. You'd be a fool to take him at 1.

Think that maybe the confusion.
