QB Kerry Collins OAK 7.02 5 primed for a big year w/ new offense QB Jake Plummer DEN 9.02 9 should prove to be another late round quality fantasy player and another quality nfl player... for the other team QB Byron Leftwich JAC 10.11 7 ...and without a true star, this team's qb's will need to play the matchups. this guy will have some quality starts. WR Keenan McCardell SDC 8.11 10 with gates no longer a secret and the holdout a thing of the past, he should approach his past numbers. WR Justin McCareins NYJ 11.02 8 with the wr pool drying up, a solid upside pick WR Mark Clayton BAL 14.11 3 this year's rook wr people aren't talking about in the summer and are talking about in the winter. TE Dallas Clark IND 6.11 8 will break out as peyton's go-to te. also solid upside for where in the te pool he was drafted. PK Jeff Reed PIT 16.11 4 he's a kicker. a good situation for a kicker, though. DT Detroit Lions DET 15.02 3 improved defense with more potential for sacks and turnovers now that teams should be playing more catchup against them. also includes the eddie drummond factor. all in all, i don't think i'd have any problems taking this team to war on sundays. Chargerz
Here's the team I picked: QB Drew Brees SDC- Has put in alot of off-season training time & will be steady. QB Jake Delhomme CAR- A bye week replacement who might do well. RB Edgerrin James IND- Better year than last? Stud material. RB Cedric Benson CHI- A rookie with lots of potential. RB Larry Johnson KCC- If Priest goes down, I'm ready! RB Darren Sproles SDC- Another Dante Hall or even better? WR Torry Holt STL- Has been solid the last few years in a pass-happy offense. WR Jerry Porter OAK- Will benefit from the acquisition of Moss. WR Brandon Stokely IND- With Manning as the QB, he could repeat his 2004 year. WR Brandon Lloyd SFO- An Illinois boy who has showed flashes of brilliance. WR Eric Parker SDC- Has to stay healthy (can he?). TE Antonio Gates SDC- A stud---> 'nuff said. TE Bubba Franks GBP- All he does is catch TD passes. PK Adam Vinatieri NEP- The premier PK in all the NFL. PK Nate Kaeding SDC- My bye-week PK. Serviceable if Vinatieri goes down. DT Carolina Panthers- May be a good pick barring injuries. What'ya think??

Wizards
Vick in most drafts is there in the early 5th round...let me get 2 RB's and at least 1 or 2 starting WR's and I would take Vick in the 5th easily...particularly if I pick in the top 3 --i.e. 1.03--Holmes 2.10--Steven Jackson or Westbrook 3.03--Holt, Walker or Andre Johnson(in that order)..4.10--if TE required (Gonzo or Gates would go before Vick IMO--if no TE req.--Vick as Burleson, Steve Smith and Clayton are gone and Bennett and Porter can wait until 5.03...Vick is a great pick up at this point... The whole point being Vick is a great pick up when he is the best available and IMO the late 4th early 5th Vick is hands down the best value period.... Seahawks21
Interesting pick at 1.01...Peyton? I true to God hope he gets mauled and tears his ACL or something, and screws everybody that took him with first pick and screwed their running back position... My 2 cents -ATL 838527[/snapback] Yes I took Peyton with the #1 overall pick. My 2nd RB (T. Bell or Arrington) is MUCH less of a dropoff from other team's #2 back than their starting QB is from mine (Peyton), especially with Moss in Oakland. If you can put DECENT talent around Manning, you should have a chance to win your league. With this draft, I have done exactly that. Here goes--- 1.01--Peyton Manning-explained above. 11.01-- Steve McNair. Manning never missed games so I wanted a risk/reward situation 2.12--Steven Jackson. Absolutely cannot believe he was still here at the end of round 2, top 5-6 back this year. 3.01--Tatum Bell. Simply love the kid and that offense. WIll be HUGE@!! 4.12--JJ Arrington. Needed more RB depth and nobody left has this kind of upside 10.12--Marcel Shipp. This pick was pretty much a necessity having taken JJ 12.12--Correll Buckhalter. At this point, looking for any RB that COULD play 16.12--Mike Anderson. Not bad taking the last pick in the draft and grabbing a potential starting RB 5.01--Darrell Jackson. #1 numbers with #2 draft availability, I'll take it 6.12--Chris Chambers. I absolutely love this kid and just can never pass him up, please Mr. Griese help me out!! 7.01--Plaxico Burress. Here's to hoping little brother throws the deep ball 9.01--Deion Branch. People forget, but very productive when healthy 14.12--Reggie Williams. SImply the pick of the draft 8.12--Jermaine Wiggins--Very solid last year and should get more red-zone opps 15.01--Josh Brown. SOrry guys, blatant homer pick 13.01--Tampa Bay Defense. Still got lotsa talent. I am not a braggart by nature, but my team appears to be quite a bit better than the others, as long as my RB play can get me by
